  1. I've found Rich's line(s) that delineate the current TF rule situation. I am illuminated - bad people in the bottom right square, good people in the bottom left, senior members in the top right, mods and gods (danny and tomturd) in the top left. Sorry Rich, this is only for humours sake
  2. f**k yeah DUDE. Non-optional head movements.
  3. Have you found that line in the sand?
  4. Yeah, I've no idea how to colour correct. I always play around with brightness and contrast though. I would really like learn though as I'm always finding myself feeling unhappy with the colour condition of my shots. I always overexpose when filming (mostly when the sun lacks) but I wonder if this somewhat relates to relative monitor/viewfinder settings.
  5. Great riding and great edit. The quality of your camera is lurvly.
  6. I personally feel that this place has become very rigid and as a consequence, quite dry. It actually reminds me of section7 and the reasons I stopped using that forum. A lot of people sitting on their higher ground, getting "annoyed" at the "shortcomings" of others, be that "pointless posts", "bed spelling" or whatever. Continual pouncing on others for not being perfect is boring (for me anyway) and it leads to the removal of a lot of the humour that previously went with pointlessness - is there any point to humour? And I especially have to agree with extreme biker about not being able to contest a ban. As somebody who clearly has an interest in politics, Rich I will suggest that you wouldn't accept the government saying that they should be able to ban you from various activities without your being able to contest such a thing? Sounds quite draconian to me. But then perhaps I'm being a bit over the top with that analogy - this is only a forum, right? No doubt my opinion will be an unpopular one but nevermind (standard procedure)
  7. Great stuff Jack. I like the emphasis on the riding over the music which goes in opposition to mine and most others video styling. Makes for an interesting feel. I especially regret that I couldn't make the weekend after seeing that. And even more because I messed up my interview! bah
  8. Yo TF gangstas, New video featuring Jack Meek. Riding is a bit crazy and should be considered a bit of an intro or teaser regarding a man on a mission. Apologies for the long intro but couldn't help myself Music is Odd Nosdam (intro) and Jel (riding). Video is 3mins something. link One more thing is that you can't stream it yet but if you have a vimeo account, you can download it. Otherwise there's a slight wait. Ben
  9. Man, you're a moviemaking machine. Really good vid. Had some life to it. You correlated the movement to the music well. Riding was all good. If I'm being finicky though, some of your tripod shots were a bit wonky! Didn't really detract much, however.

    (old) Tim Pratt

Alas, I wish Tim was still riding Very inspiring chap.
  11. Do you mean directly in your flat and especially for you? People popping out of the cuboards with party poppers and shiny hats, screaming cliche popping words of pretend happiness about an abstract figure concerning 500 billions of squid and some banks? Sounds divine but that might be wishful thinking, Mark. Although you never know, given the current climate change.
  12. Perhaps that quantity requires a mandatory consideration by politicians? Or perhaps, more simply, that quantity is just generally considered enough to get (or justify) the relevant persons attention? I can only guess!
  13. On a somewhat related note, I just received an e-mail pointing to this petition. Despite being fairly ignorant to what's going on, this seems to make sense to me. I signed the petition anyway. BUY-IN NOT BAILOUT
  14. Well, that certainly makes me feel differently about the situation. What do we risk by not giving the loan? Also, are the people whose savings that would be restored, generally going to be individuals with high incomes anyway?
  15. The bailout is essentially a loan though, if I'm correct? In which case, in terms of trying to maintain some sort of economic stability, I'm not so concerned about my tax money being used in that way, even if it relates to the banks having made some very bad decisions I'm fairly ignorant to this situation though so my judgement isn't really founded on much.
  16. If I can raise the funds, I reckon I should be able to make this.
  17. I still don't see why people are involved in arguing about the classification of Dannys riding. Surely focusing on the classification misses the point entirely? It's kind've like getting my finger confused with the riding that it's pointing at - you're just staring at my finger totally misunderstanding the point and missing out on what's most rewarding. We should just watch the riding because when we truly do we lose all ideas of something being this or that (classified) and we just enjoy what we see. Dannys riding in the truest sense (like all riding) is neither trials or bmx but is simply something else, something ineffable which can bring a gret deal of entertainment. Don't spoil that by getting wrapped up in definitions. You're wasting your time.
  18. Same here. edit: train arrives at 12.15
  19. I shall be in (weather dependent), presumably with Nathan, at between 11-12. My mobile no. is 07796563952 so call me if you wanna hook up
  20. Oh, the irony. Do you actually even try to read/understand what I say?
  21. My ethical judegements in terms of the law regarding the influence of alcohol on behaviour aren't really relevant to the point I was making against you. Ethical judgements follow the facts, they have nothing to do with the facts, per se. It was the latter part that I was discussing.
