Okay cheers, Luke. I can always get the train for that segment.

I'm good for getting around upto Bristol. Can anybody offer me a place in a car thereafter? Also, I've got a sofa and two floor spaces for three individuals in Bristol.
-
Cool, send me a message/text when you're about and up for riding... No probs I'm looking forward to spending some quality riding/social time with yourself and others. I need to get back into the trials mix
-
You've clearly forgotten, Luke but I've already mentioned that I'm going to be on the tour! Although, to be fair I hadn't mentioned how much and I will be missing at least the first day and maybe the last few. Cheers for mentioning anyhow

Eh up, I'm moving back to Bristol this week and was wondering who's about for riding at the moment? I'm really hoping to be able to ride with others at least 2-3 times a week, especially until I start uni in October. So who's about and who's up for regular riding? Can you indicate who you are aside from your TF name please? I could do with mobile numbers as well in case they've changed, were one of the numbers I recently lost from my phone or I never had your number. In return, my number is - 07796 563952 Cheers!

Yeah, I could also do with getting some dates for differing locations. It seems like there might not be much in the way of spare seats in cars so it'll probably train trips for me. The earlier I get them booked, the cheaper they are

Real men duck tape their hands and feet to two wheels and contract-expand the whole way, even if it doesn't actually work. Man, you're not having a hugh amount of luck! I hope that changes for you. Either way, your reward at finishing should be fairly immense such that none of the struggling will matter much anymore when that happens
-
Jeez, not clipped in, on a mountainbike (with front suspension?!) and with your all your gear on the back. I salute you and your effort! I hope you've got a good nutrition plan? Anyway, when I've got some money in the week I shall try and throw you a few quid in sponsorship. I have a lot of respect for what you're doing
-
I'm down with that idea. Any chance you could throw me his number, Luke? I seem to have lost it.

Awesome riding, Steve and I really liked the choice of music. I think it worked really well

He litreally looks like a toy figure. Very plasticy. Although I don't relate to that sort of end result from weight lifting, fair play in the sense that it must've taken quite a commitment to get there.

If you're a student you should be able to pick up a copy of Adobe Premiere for about that. I recommend it! If, however, you aren't a student then the cost well exceeds your budget. I think Sony Vegas might be a free and effective editing suite but I've never used it.

I definitely miss TheCircus. That chap had some comical talent. Did he gat banned or something in the end?

I went through that footage and spoke to Dave about it and it's not really worth doing anything in addition to that video. Although Danny attempted a lot of awesome lines, and was very close to getting all of them, most of them he was just short of doing. It wouldn't really relate to a great video. I have, however, made a video of his riding from when he ventured down south. Danny does some pretty awesome stuff in Reading and Bristol. You'll have to wait until Dave is ready to release it though
-
I've got the footage on my computer. I'll make a promise, that I'll try not to break, of getting it edited within a week. Probably won't be a great editing effort but who needs editing when it's Danny Mac? The chaps fine raw.

I chuckled. That was very good

Okey doke. My number is 07796563952. I'm up for starting riding at around 12 and we usually meet up outside the Wyvern Theatre to begin with. Let me know if this is okay

You not back in Swindon for the summer, Ollie? I'm riding again and Adam is about. Do you know if any of the other westside boys are wanting to break away from their headonism to start riding again this summer? edit: I've just noticed this is from September last year

That was indeed a poor explanation on my part. Basically, I couldn't fix the cylinder issue with the HS33 lever body that I was asking for help about. Air pressure from a pump simply wouldn't do it. Instead, at the shop that I was doing the repair, I was offered an old, old magura lever (HS??) which worked perfectly, within a matter of minutes, in opposition to the hours I had spent trying to sort the lever body. The old lever is at least around 10 years old (methinks) and it doesn't have a tpa but is large in size and is something I have never seen before. None of this is particularly intersting, no doubt, but I just felt like wrapping up the thread with an ending to my predicament. Clearly I failed Bit annoying all this seeing as the broken lever body I bought was from somebody off the forum the other day...

Yo There have been a few threads about riding Swindon that don't seem to have gone through. I was wondering if anyone was up for coming here this weekend? As a local, I'll show you around to all the spots. Lemme know
-
Attempted the pump fix, didn't work. I'm know using a magura raceline lever that's at least 10 years old.... It's hugh and doesn't have a tpa! Thanks for the help, chaps

Any advice on removing it? I just tried some not so good needle nose pliers and that didn't do it?
-
Okay, I've beld it. There's no air in the system and there's no leaking. Still the same problem though When there's enough pressure in the system, does this push something in the lever body out to meet the part of the TPA that sticks out from the lever? If so, does this ever become stuck?
-
I gave a quick search to solve my problem but I don't have much time as I'm at a friends bike shop trying to get my (newer model) hs33 to work. Basically the issue is that the lever goes all the way to the bars. The TPA appears to be fine - it adjusts back and forth. It seems to be that the lever body doesn't resist the part of the TPA that sticks out from the lever. even if the TPA is extended to the max. Is this an issue with the bleed? The problem is the same between two different lever bodies. HELP! and thanks in advance.
