Thanks a bundle for making me want to really ride when the weather isn't allowing it Anyway, great street styling there. And your 360 nose pivot is prime for a roll back on the front wheel wheel off the flatbank.

Thanks again for further comments. The tunage is "Boom Bip - Closed Shoulders (Clouddead Remix)"

Thanks again for the additional commentry. Wassat supposed to mean? Yeah a smooth rim. On days when I'm feeling manuals I don't use the brake. That first manual could only be achieved with no brake because there was only a pedal cycles worth of run up to get the speed for that length of the ledge. My brake is a bit pants at the moment to be honest and I'm using tar in moderate amounts but it was originally good before I accidently left it out in the rain overnight.

Magura with a red magura pad and a brown koxx pad. I need to sort some new pads actually but I know so little about them. I really don't want noisy pads.

Cheers for all the comments and nice words. I'm waiting for a decent camera before I put a proper riding/filming/editing effort into a video. At the moment it's nice to try and add some relaxed progression to my riding each week and document it. It's a bit different, fun and motivating. 550D in a couple of weeks though hopefully

Latest installment of my riding. Would have liked to have included a bunch of other lines that I didn't manage to film but uni has begun getting intense and it's getting more difficult to get out as much. Anyway, student finance nearly sorted so hopefully decent camera on the way followed by scaring myself.

Big lloyds indeed. See you then.

I've got uni from 2-3 but will come out before and after that I guess. By Temple Meads do you mean the three steps near there?

Yeah it certainly began to tail off into a sort of poverty but the last season was, to my mind, something of a redemption. I certainly would have liked to have seen another season to wrap up the story, especially in the sense of how the last season ended. I would say something similar of lost. It had a period of being pretty rubbish but got strong again. I've never seen prison break. Anyway, BSG, Six Feet Under, The Wire, Broadwalk Empire, etc. are where American television is really at. They contain something to actually take away with you instead of just the dribble stains down your front that you get from switching off into a stupor when watching stuff like Lost and Heroes.
-
It has been cancelled. The only potential is a film length episode or couple of episodes to wrap things up. But that's in no way a given. Basically, it wasn't very popular in America and that's where the $ is. It very popular in the UK and Europe though but that obviously wasn't enough for the greedy media machines. Shame really because other than season 3 (I think that was the awful one), it was all very entertaining.

Glad to hear it. That's definitely one of my video making ideals; to enthuse others about riding. I'd love a situation where lots of different 24" riders, or very streety 26" riders, were producing lots of videos very regularly. It really sets a scene and motivates all involved and that can only be a good thing. You should make some vids yourself when you get back to riding
-
I really enjoyed that. I thought, given the context, you constructed a very tasteful video there, Jonny. And of course the quality of production was top notch in every sense. NEED CAMERA LIKE THAT, so I can 'try' to do something similar. Props to John for the speech

Quicksilverscreen.com > forums > tv shows > divx > sci-fi > index (or maybe the first or second page on that section) summin' like that anyhow.

Pretty cool to see your riding again. I was very impressed with your riding that day, not only by the height that you achieved but by ease and smoothness with which you did it. Keep it up

Cheers for additional commentry and any nice words. I think each week I'm going to produce a mini vid as it's quite motivating; especially in the sense of trying to have improved, in some sense, each week. Really want to sort out a decent camera though so I can make a 'proper' vid where I have to push myself to complete scary lines. Student finance are failing me I wish it was a barspin but alas it was only an x-up. Hitting the foam pit next week though so will try to get them down alongside other bits. I gave up trying to ride there. It was actually too dangerous as was evidenced by the two scooter kids that collided just as I was leaving. They actually play tig on the scooters. Hectic is probably an understatement. There are lots of small and amazing bmxers there so I'm not sure if I know the one you refer to. They were all doing all sorts and making me feel rather inadequate. Looking at the vid, and relatively speaking, I think I look like a kid on a bmx. Anyway, I'll message you tunage info now.

Just what I like to see. Great riding, good stuff!
-
Yeah it's a really good park. The only issue is the amount of scooter kids. It's something of a jungle with them all chipping around in an unpredictable and awareless monkey fashion. Was a really fun day there today none the less. Cheers for comments so far, chaps.

Hey Ferryman, My internet connection has been down recently so sorry for the late reply here. There is now a regular group of riders in Bristol. It's formed quite recently and Wednesday evening and Saturday day seem to be, so far, the days when we mostly meet up in the largest group. Although riding does occur beyond that. My number is . Feel free to contact me about meeting us. It would be great to add another rider to the list of Bristol riders
-
It's in the forum trialtube. I think in the street section near the back. It's "GETboard".
-
High calibre film production as per normal, Jonny. Shame it was so short. Is this with the 7d? Awesome line there, Mike.

Dalek - Blessed Are They Who Bash Your Children's Heads Against A Rock Glad to hear you've still for an interest in politics, Rich.

I find typically with riding I like to rapidly move between spots if possible. The fresher everything feels the more motivated I usually am. But yeah, Bristol has a lot to offer so the natural response is to make proper use of that. Yeah I live in Brizzle. I've lived either here or in Swindon in the past. I thought about a 360 to nose roll back but I want to save that for my 'proper' vid. Hoping to try and get 720s down for the vid as well. I was getting to just over 540 but I totally lose control cause it's new to me. Will sort a vid just need a decent camera and somebody to film. It's always guilt trip asking people to film cause I don't want to get in the way of their riding.

New spot in Bristol, not too far from the flatbanks. It's got a few interestingly shaped blocks at varying distances.

Thought I'd film again as it seems to help me focus and I'm still in need of distraction at the moment. Had the wobbles this evening so sketchy style but still was managing to nail stuff. Gonna get myself a 550d or 7d soon and then I'm gonna really push myself and hopefully make what I'm already doing 'bigger' and more tech.
