  1. Good stuff Ian. Especially liked the big gap. I've been having fun with that sort of thing recently. I shall be looking forward to your proper vid
  2. Yeah get a 24" Jonny. It would certainly suit your style of riding... The music is Dalek - Street Diction When are we going to be seeing a vid from you then, eh? Still waiting on that... Yeah, the blocks are good fun. I have to admit I'd been avoiding them for a while but recently realised they I can still enjoy that sort of stuff on my style of bike. You need to make it to Bristol for a ride, eh?
  3. All in all, pretty awesome Joel. Loving all the forms of creativity there Still want to see a strictly trials vid of all you though... When's that gonna happen?
  4. Myself and Nick Goddard, who made the GET dvds, are both glasseyetrials. Originally we were both going to be involved in making GET1 but I pulled out to pursue other things. I did contribute some footage and filming to GET1 but not much really. I've done some videos here under that label and some others elsewhere.
  5. Thanks for the comments. I think the music wasn't entirely suitable for the more trialsy parts but I liked it for the more streety stuff. Indeed Storey. Proper vid filming begins now... You been riding? I'm down to Swindon this weekend and maybe for some of the week providing it doesn't rain. You about? I have to admit that I wasn't too sure about the look at first but it's growing on me. My bike looks a bit too stylish and I've tended to prefer more modest looks in the past. They are supermotos and in terms of performance I totally recommend them. Rides like something slicker whilst still prvoviding awesome grip
  6. That was awesome. You have so much control of the bike brakeless. Really good to watch
  7. Yo, My pc died the other day so I used that as an excuse to break the bank and sort out some new hardware that could handle the video file compression that my camera produces. This also meant I went for a little ride to get some clips to test out my new rig despite the fact that I should be resting my injured arm. 'twas good fun. Premiere is running better than ever before and it was actually fun to make this small edit. I put a little bit of thought and time into this for the first time in a while. Please make sure you watch in HD and not the crappy default resolution on youtube. Enjoy!
  8. Love the control and smoothness. I'd probably be happy watching up ride up a curb, Stan. Filming was really good as well. Do want your lens, Mark. One thing though; are you still encoding with .wmv or have you tried h.264 yet? Only it seems like you've definitely had some significant loss of quality?
  9. Stupidly high production value there that makes me feel thoroughly inadequate and somewhat jealous of you Mr Jones! Very good job. And great riding, as I would expect, from John
  10. Always loved Sean's style and therefore I enjoyed this vid. We need another Sean and Ian video though methinks...
  11. Hey dude, you never called that day. Do you still want to come and ride with us one day?

  12. How are you importing the files? I'd try just selecting them all from outside of premiere and then dragging them into it. This definitely keeps the import settings basic and should keep the files separate. At least that's how it's always worked for me. What file format are you importing? What happens when you import the files into premiere individually; using the your current method? Oh yeah and you can razor the clips by selecting that tool from the tiny box with several other symbols which is usually found to the right of the timeline. Once razored, choose a segement and then right click, select "duration" and adjust the time of that segment to what you want. You can reduce the duration to a single frame which would allow 50 images to make as little as 2 seconds.
  13. Good stuff. Impressive that you're nailing the 180 and 360 drops. Depending on work and that I may well be in Swindon this coming weekend. Will you be out riding again?
  14. I'm working but may manage to finish early enough to join some of this.
  15. I'll probably be riding Swindon the weekend after next if you're about then?
  16. Nailing a line or move you've wanted to do for a long time or thought you might not ever be able to do. However doing the aforementioned with ease, smoothness and flow is perhaps the most rewarding experience of all for me from riding. Feels pretty f**king awesome. But aside from the more usual great feelings like the above, sex, etc. I think perhaps the most profound and rewarding feeling I've ever had was the mystical experience of universal and unconditional love for all things. Pretty much showed me something of the what I now believe to be the greatest potential for human beings. Not much compares at least with reference to my other range of experience.
  17. Yep I'm on this providing my lift also wants to go here. By the sounds of it James, Rob is definitely up for it?
  18. Tom! The word "trials" is just a noise or symbol to indicate certain goings on in the world. What goings on are indicated are made up by us. In fairness words do come with certain rules but the rules are not fixed (as we make them up). Trials can become a broader term to include a more bmx style, if we want. Nowt really lost by doing so. Particularly when we have adjuncts like 24"/street/tgs/comp etc. to better qualify the more specifics of "trials". Basically debating over what is and isn't trials, as if it actually says something about reality rather than just refering to it, doesn't really get you anywhere. Whatever though. I'm just a bike rider who likes hanging out with other bike riders that typically have rigid bikes and bashguards. I'm not sure what really needs to be said beyond that. There's hardly a need to be philosophical about riding. Rather you just ride and have a good time; whatever that means for you.
  19. These things are weird. I've actually used one in a triathlon shop I helped out in and much to my disbelief - I assumed they were most likely a nonsense - it made a difference to my ability to balance and move against resistence. However, the power of states of mind over the body is a well established thing so it could still easily be a nonsense. That, however, works both ways. And, somewhat in that sense, I'd be just as wary of claims of scientific 'proof' against it as I would of the band itself. Edit: I was just thinking, in a pragmatic sense, it doesn't matter if they don't have the physical effect, via the route claimed, but rather they tell a story which somebody can get into and, as a consequence, perform better through a kind of belief. Anyway, whatever, I shall not be buying one.
  20. Awesome stuff and I would like to see more of it!
  21. Definitely be out. Will be good to catch up, Storey.
  22. Ian, I know the foam pit will be available but will any other ramps still be as well? I want to ride the more trialsy stuff but I like riding park just as much. I'll come either way; I'm just curious.
  23. Pretty impressive height to be hopping upto front from a manual. Certainly an amusing fail, and tangle, though. edit: Also, the b+w is looking awesome. What are you format are you compressing into, Mark?

The yawn was really with reference to my frustration about continually failing to get the specific lines that I want and only producing another one of these smaller vids. I've decided to either ignore or keep my perfectionism to myself from now on. So it has nowt to do with that You gonna make another effort at getting down to Bristol for a ride again?

Do it! It'd be great to ride with you chaps again And, yeah, I'm also appreciating the return of my love for riding. Not since the day of my giant/curtis have I enjoyed riding this much.
