I've just been looking at the Mio Alpha and this confirms that it's probably the best bet although arm monitors are also something to consider. Thank You

Hi guys, i'm looking for a reliable wrist watch style heart rate monitor that reads your pulse from the wrist and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. Also it needs to be waterproof.

Ouch! I can't begin to imagine how that guy feels.

I'm asking because they interest me more than as a potential buyer. And yes, the massive % gains are likely long gone but a $350 rise since Saturday does suggest that there is a good chance that there is money still to be made. The articles I've read on them advise to buy a small amount as a long term gamble, there's a good chance that you'll lose your money, but given the relatively small amount available, there's also a small chance that they will take off and you'll get a massive return.

I spoke to a friend on Saturday who told me he had spent a few thousand pounds on bitcoins and they were currently worth £6000 more than he paid for them. I looked up the price and they were $650 each. I just looked up the current price and they are $1000+. Had anyone bought any? And if so how did you go about it?

I actually quite like the look of the seat and the riding is great, i like how long the lines are.

Reading through this thread I'm shocked that two people have had guns pulled on them in England. I'm luckily enough not to know anyone who has come across an illegal gun in the UK. I lived in America for 6 months and have travelled around the country since and I'm so glad that I live in a country where guns are so hard to get hold of. In Arizona I drove out into the desert with a friend and 7 guns and let a few hundred rounds fly. It was great fun but I'll happily sacrifice that to not live in a place where people can walk the streets with a gun without even needing a permit. Even where I lived in Minnesota I got into numerous arguments with people who genuinely thought that more guns will solve the problem of gun violence, while gun control will make things worse. That America has the highest murder rate out of the 20 countries with the highest GDP and by far the most liberal gun laws didn't mean anything to them. Anyway I'm getting a bit off topic but my point was that yes I'm sure there are lots of people who are unstable and capable of things like this if they had access to a gun and even more if they carried it regularly. Thankfully in the UK few do.

12 months ago I hurt my shoulders at the gym but kept working out over the next month until it was too painful to do so. I had surgery on my left 2 weeks ago and when it's recovered in 6-12 months time I'll be having my right done. 7 months ago I went over on my ankle 30 mins into a boxing class. I kept on my feet for the remaining 1 1/2 hours of the session instead of resting it and it's still slightly swollen and has a reduced range of movement. Basically don't be a dickhead like me and think injuries will heal while you carry on as normal. Don't do anything that makes it painful and see a doctor soon who will most likely refer you to a physio. If you sprain something then remember Rest Ice Compression and Elevation. Also taking ibuprofen helps as it is an anti inflammatory aswell as painkiller.

Love this. The 180 from the rail to the wall was great. Also the scenery was beautiful, although I guess that was the point of the video with Lausanne tourism as a sponsor.

My landlord told me that I was supposed to find someone else to take on my contract if I decided to leave. However he also said that as a landlord he was obliged to help me find someone. If I were you I would contact your housing agency over whether they can help you find someone. Although from my experience agencies are much harder to work with than individual landlords.

Such a hard choice (inspired arcade news and info)

All People should read this ! STOP using PAYPAL

This was my original point which has gotten a bit lost in explaining how i got to that figure. I was just showing that the 2% daily that was mentioned in the original post and considered to be a conservative estimate is actually a massive number. -

It does sound ridiculous but really it's just how it is. http://www.thecalculatorsite.com/finance/calculators/compoundinterestcalculator.php -

Because interest at a daily rate would be compound interest. Starting with £100 on the second day you are getting 2% of £102 - £2.04. On the 50th day you are getting £5.28 making the total £269.16 and on the 365th day you would get £2700.80 making the grand total £137,740.83. So yeah, 2% interest daily is a lot. -

I get your point but 2% interest per day is an insanely large amount. At that rate £100 would turn in to £137,740.83 in a year. -
How about an iPhone 3GS? It would still out preform the modern budget smartphones that my friends have had. Here's a 16gb one for £75 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/331054586605?hlpht=true&ops=true&viphx=1&lpid=95&device=m&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=95 The company selling it has great feedback but I don't know if they give any warranty.

I love old hip hop. I'm currently listening to wutcha want by nine but I've been listening to atmosphere more than anyone else recently.

And that's interesting what you said about codine- I was warned that it might bung me up haha

I over did it in the gym. I hit the weights 5 times a week for about 4 years and eventually all the overhead movements took their toll. The physio said my joints are lose and naturally susceptible to it too. Eventually I started losing range of movement and they started clunking, I was an idiot and kept training until it was too painful to do so and they were beyond saving without surgery. It's unfortunate that your knee's gone too, at least you know the process. I hope it works out.

I'm glad yours turned out well. They told me I could go back to full sport after 4 months but I was very sceptical about that. The worst is that my other shoulder needs doing next haha. I'll take some time out to enjoy an active life before getting that done, until then TF videos will have to satisfy my craving to ride.
-
Hi! Has anyone had surgery on their shoulder? I'm currently in a hospital bed after surgery to stabilise my shoulder due to a labral tear. Has anyone else had this surgery? If so how long until you can ride again? I don't want to hear any horror stories for a few days. At the moment my arm is completely numb as if I'd fallen asleep on it.

This bike is so sexy. Definitely a candidate for the best looking 24.

I've got odi longnecks on both my dirt jump bike and fourplay. I think they are great for street trials. For pure trials i would try something else but i would stick them on a Zoot. I haven't tried foam grips though.

I love how flowy your riding is. Also the hex looks great in red.

Loved the video, some great lines and the music fitted nicely.
