  3. but really im far from it and u kno it My mum just did that thing that mums do like 'kicking' their son out. Living with my dad in Portsmouth for 10 weeks or so. it has been 6 hours and i really am not enjoying this. HEH GROWING UP. I really really don't get on with my step mum. this should be interesting. IM SO GLAD I HAVE SOMEWHERE DECENT TO RIDE THOUGH
  4. Any recommendations on Nvidia cards around the £70-120 range? Will be doing editing / rendering, gaming and possibly coin mining if I can be bothered. Would I correct in thinking Nividia would be the best choice for these things? Specs: i5 2320 @3.0Ghz 6gb ram 305W pcu (just noticed how poor that is oh my, that needs to change) 1.5T hdd 8gb ssd -Ati Radeon 3450 (stunning i know)- Thanks lads x
  5. I didn't do it for support ( you can see the card is bending upwards :wink2: ) The stock fan it had on it did one too many spins and started to sound like a jet. so instinctively i cut it out. Me being the 1337 tgs bodger that I am. I ripped out a hench old fan from a mac tower thing, cut up a broken Ipod charger and used the working usb end to make the fan run off usb. I ran a few tests at max load with my highest overclock and the heatsink burned my finger and it started to smell like fire. Next I went about finding a way to dissipate the heat over a larger area. Went through a few methods and ended up with that work of art. An old bash guard rubber, a stack of 2p's with a bit of card on top and taped together then a heatsink I got out of an old amp. (heatsink grid running parallel to the motherboard). Made a new fascinating discovery that this didn't do all too much and the legit heatsink was still burning me. I put an ally snailcam where the fan would go. this is enough to pass on the heat through the heatsink from the amp. the fan then keeps the air moving and everything is dandy. Hold on to your fedoras boys.. it even keeps cool when I maximum underclock it and put everything on power saving with turning the usb fan off
  6. Thought I should make my fellow nerds cringe. I found a use for bash guard rubber!
  7. The worst she can say is no, give it a go anyway. I'm sure it won't ruin the palship if she does

  10. Mother thinks I am on drugs but really I just hate college and go riding late at night, over 9 months sober from everything as well. sigh. Getting tedious now.

  13. anyone fancy helping me on the hunt for some Adidas Terrex f2's in size 9 or 10? I think they are available somewhere but for like £50-£70
  14. I personally don't ride with any support but It was noticeably more supportive than my excuse for riding shoes. Jake uses supports and still loves them, cant say whats its like comfort wise but it works. pretty sure he will see this thread soon Classic Ian
  15. I have wide feet too. I tired Jakes on last weekend and had a little ride in them. He is size 9 in them but I find I am a 10/11 in most other shoes and these fitted perfectly. Tight hold around the feet Molded soul as well, supports the arch and all that jazz. Makes riding Vans feel like you have a small book tied to your feet Beautiful grip, not that you need it with those pedals you have. Pretty much a rubber extension for Need to find some in uk 9/10 and I'm insta buy that straight up Tonk/10
