  1. So the council recently upgraded our rubbish metal deadly skatepark to a decent concrete one and it opened a few days ago. Just wondering if anyone wants to come ride around my local area. not just trials, but any stylee or even unicycle lol. If anyone is interested and lives cliose. Let me know, id love to organise a huge group ride with guys on here. The skatepark is located: Sutton Lawn Pleasure Grounds Sutton in Ashfield Nottinghamshire Anyone near?
  2. Yh but the fact he couldnt state the brand "echo" or antything to do with trials. ANd he said it was 2 grand and when i said mine was 5grand he didnt seem ti realise it was BS... plus 5yeara ago the dude would have been like 6lol
  3. Young lad: how much was that i had one of those same bikes.. Me: oh cool, what make n model is this? Lad: i dont know what it was it was same as that one but i had it 5 years ago.. Me: its a 2012 model?....
  4. Do you know why? Are they made this way intentionally?
  5. Yeah iv been finding the "high point" if you will, of the freewheel and also the rear wheel. Im thinking of taking the chain off and alighning the 2 high spots to cancel eachother out... If that makes sence lol...
  6. it seems less aparent on a higher quality freewheel. Im still guna change the rear cog too..cant hurt.
  7. Ah rite, yeah iv been doing it correctly then. tensioning on the loose point. Thank you verry much sir
  8. Hi all. Iv been playing around with my rear wheel trying to get my chain correct. But it seems that its impossible at the moment because when my right crank is in the forward position the chain is tighter than when in the backward facing position. It seems to be the freewheel which i am due to replace soon. I was just wondring if anyone else has had this, and if it was the freewheel. Also the position of the rear wheel seems to also change the tension, but much less drastic... Is my rear cog also warped... Any info apreciated. Cheers
  9. Good post. Ride what you like enjoy it. That is all.
  10. There called 'fattys plattys' mate.
  11. Yeh ur kicking a ball. Playin football is more than that though. U need a team, goals. Rules a reff. Pitch. And a team to.play.. Thats football.as defined. Not "kicking a ball around between 3 folk on a field." not saying brakeless isnt trials its just like Bike SportsĀ» bike trialsĀ» brakeless bike trials. Id like to se brakeless comps though. Awsome skill.
  12. Yeah they race together. But the gt2 isnt expected to also beat all GT1 cars to win the race, only compete with own class. But you get that Mmm.beans
  13. I agree and no i wouldnt. Im not following this brakeless thing. My argument is that trials, as defined as a recognised official sport with championships, competitions etc is what trials is.. I dont say it makes it any less good, bt for trials, like comps etc u need brakes. As u say if there werw brakeless comps then it would be for brakeless riders.. Seperating them as they do wih other sports. A gt2 car isnt racig the gt1 on the same track... Thats a diffeent twig on the branch.. Its GT1 racing. Of the sport racing. In catagory motosport.. comparing brakeless etc is pointless.as.ohers have said. But im bored and fancy posting some more. Agree.
  14. Nothing wrong with it and its cool etc. Just not what i class as trials in strict sporting terms. And some folk are flogging it like its somehow better.. I just disagree for the reasons i have stated. Its not trials its a twig off the branch of trials. And yeah im sure there will be more riders doing it and conpetitions on the same terms as trials etc. But bmx isnt dirt jump isnt downhill even though u do jumps in all of them. Brakeless is brilliant. Ni debate there. I cant say what its like as iv never done it as you say. But for ME an what I want. Brakes is better. for me.. AND what i want...
  15. Where do they host the brakeless competitions im struggling to find any videos or even information on who won brakeless trials last few years? Can u point me to where i can find this?
  16. Brakeless comps? Who is current world champion in brakeless trials?
  17. Nah nah nah nah ahhhlrightey thennn. aha i love that. Ahhh today has been a GOooD day Hope uv all had a good day riding anyway, brakes or not Cheers
  18. I found anything u put on usualy wears off/moves. Clean bars n grips (inside) with pure warm water, let them dry properly. Put grips on, bar end plugs and a tie wrap each end pulled tight with pliars. Jobs a good en'
  19. No ur not alone if ur ROFLing around. I get what you mean but if u cant beat em, yeh u know.. Yeh theres probly more stuff u could choose from, but u seem set on that. Hope u enjoy it.
  20. Ah so there are things u CANT do.. Like trials....
  21. Yes u gettin a bargain there. I wish i brought that... Is that more what you want?
  22. If its in good condition with small scuffs then yeah its worth it.. If it has any evidence of dents / cracks / score marks / gouges in the frame. Then ni its not worth it. Listen to the advice... It will serve you well.. Go see the bike if you can, and hop around on it. If they say u cant the u know something is wrong.
  23. Are you allowed to put ur shoes in you wheels/tyres at a competition/championship?
  24. You can progress on a apollo mountain bike... Just get what you can. Ride it and then when your good get a grands worth ... If ts cracked like that..u aint progressing anywhere.
