My echo discs suffered from a very bad pad knock, I tried sanding and everything I heard.... what it really worked a treat was using duck tape Use just enough to cover the back and allow a little bit to go over the lateral edges. The pistons stick into the tape and the bit that goes on the sides prevent metal to metal contact so the pad knock now has disappeared 100%

The bleed screw is the one on the left on that picture. No need to remove the allen key bit to bleed it

In my case (Im 33) being scared is not the reason I don't do things that I reckon would be risky. It is simply that I cannot afford not going to work the day after because I've broken my ankle. I love riding and challenging myself but there are things in life that come first. I have done it plenty of times, specially at the odd times so you don't get many people eating pop corn or crisps, making stupid comments out loud ect so you can proper enjoy the movie. So yeah, I don't see it as being sad at all

Big bump again.... Been thinking of doing the same with my TR disc brake as the lever does not feel good no matter what I do. My question is, if I use a reservoir type lever, would I need to get a bleed nipple for my TR caliper? if not I cant figure out how to bleed it..

Hi, welcome to the forum take the pads out the caliper on the front brake and see how they are, they might need replacing? the brake would also need a fresh bleed (is it hydraulic?) if it has air in the system, not sure if you're familiar with hydraulic brakes, there are a lot of tutorials on youtube etc... Same with the rear pads, are they ok? do they hit the rim square? V's can be good if set up properly. Look up in the forum, you'll find plenty of info and feel free to ask if you need to!!!
