  1. all in all i'd say that was a damn good video, some very watchable stuff and original lines :-
  2. you need to discover the shop with the yellow light outside on the street, just go explore a bit and whenever you see a bright light shining on the road next to an alley or entrance, go down the entrance and there should be some sort of shop down there :-
  3. nope, i was sorting out my new phone and doing project work :P i bet it was the same old boring business shite anyway :P your only jealous because i remembered to skip it like you did last week. oh and as for the cars you havent seen, they are only on the xbox version as far as i know.
  4. i currently have a fully maxed out skyline, mmmmm carbon bumpers, boot, bonet, mirrors and roof scoops.
  5. where do you find out how far through the game you are? i have tried looking everywhere but cant find it anywhere!! silly boy jono, you shouldnt have modded all those cars, best to stick with one or two and fully pimp them out, i guess you are needing to get up to the next star level to get another dvd cover or something. Mines currently on 9.53 star rating, but i havent checked whether there is anything new that will boost it in a while. As for the internals, everything is at level 3 (all on a skyline btw).
  6. Ive had my 140 disc hub for the past 6 months and havent had a single rpoblem from it. Basically its perfect for a front trials hub, it has been lightweight and i have given it some serious stick and the axel is still perfect. Before i got this hub i had the non disc "120 sus hub" which has the same bearing setup but with a alightly lighter body due to smaller flanges. Again after a year, this hub was still running as smooth as the day i bought it. It is now on the front of one of my mates bikes and as far as i know is still happiy spinning after what is now 18 months of use, without a single bit of maintenance!! As has been mentioned i think these hubs are not just competitors to the Hope Mono/XC i think they surpass them in both quality, functionality (weight), and price. Both hubs come with a QR which i havent had any problems with, and for either less in the case of the 120 sus, or slightly more money than the equivilant Hope.
  7. Pads: Tarty Time Used: 1 month Rim: D521 Grind: Yes Brake: Magura Opinion of working brake: Something that locks no matter how much force you put through it (within trials riding) comparison: I have previously used monty x-hydras (on a smooth 521cd rim) and koxx bloxx on a ground 521. These pads have better lock than either of my previous setups, and to my great supprise actually have some modulation too. Review: I know you are going to say "wait until you have had them longer" however i believe i have put a fair few hours into these pads in a number of conditions and so can justify a decent review. Initially the new pads on a new grind were good. Plenty of modulation with pretty mych as much lock as i had had before. After a few hours they began to bed in and the lock steadily increased to immense. I then rode some natural which resembled a quagmire for a good few hours, and the pads were still performing excellently, with the power far exceeding anything i have seen is those conditions before. The pic below is of my rim and brake after the session, to show the condition it was in. Following this i made a half hearted attempt at cleaning my rim, so due to a relatively dirty rim performance wasn't as good as previous to the muddy ride, however it was still plenty good enough for me and about on par with my previous setups. I now have a new fresh grind on the rim and have put about 8 hours riding onto it, and all of the lock has returned but still retaining some modulation. On the wear front, at the time of the regrind, there was minimal wear of about 0.5mm on one pad and less on the other, this has mainly been due to the bedding in of the pads and the muddy natural riding. All in all i have been very impressed, the performance has been great and the wear has been less than that of my monty x-hydras, but more than that of my koxx bloxx, which afte a year showed about 1mm wear but performed no whoere near as well)
  8. I have a boosey and hawks 400 alto sax, but i havent played it in about 6 months. I used to be quite good, but am not really any good at reading music. I mainly just listen to something a couple of times, and can work out how to play it (Y) .
  9. Thats all well and good so long as you look at the problem from a fixed perspective, of the initial choices. If you look at it with a real time, moving perspective, the answer changes to 50/50 and the initial choice becomes superfluous, as the second question may as well be which do you want to choose. If you take for instance the usual scenario of a game show, where this choice occurs, the contestant will change their mind a couple of times before they make their final decision one way or the other, therefore making it a 50/50 decision.
  10. well 24 is only a couple of years older than some of us ancient things on here.

  12. This is indeed the best technique to use, however, it is not necessary to remove the brake from the bike, just ensure the lever reservoir is entirely flat before you start.
  13. Very well done vid Jonny :D as has been said it captured the day well, the sadness, the madness and the good ol' ride everyone had.
