  8. Mr Koxx, your figure was worked out by an engineer who happens to work at hope. Ad and me for that matter are also both engineers with knowledge in mechanics of materials. Look at it this way, if you have enough power to break a kmc kool chain then you will kill the Hope Trials Hub. Neither figure is wrong, neither is exactly correct. In this business all figures are usually ball park figures, which should then have a safety factor of not less than 3 (1.5 for the aeronautical industry due to weight constraints). Im now going to pre-emt your smoke me comment, and say grow up. This is a mature question asked by someone who actually has a clue about engineering and will therefore know not to use the figure Ad produced as a gospel one. Your figures are very similar and so why cause all these arguments? I know if i was tom i would take both your figures and round them up to say 600NM, job done.
  9. Not a broken bone, but i had the cartelidge in my shoulder re-constructed in the summer, that meant i couldnt ride properly for about 8 weeks, it drove me insane!!!!
  10. already done, the evening after seeing the vid, have got some footage, but not enough for a decent vid, so may just stick some in a vid in a month or two.
  11. i dont usually get unknown injuries from riding, its more the ones when you wake up from a night on the lash that fool me :turned:
  12. onza ronnie on profile????? whatever you end up getting get it built by Ad @ tartybikes, his wheel builds are surpassed by none in this country.<------ thats a full stop by the way.
  13. metallica S&M album, no leaf clover = the best song ever recorded IMO add me on msn and ill send it to you, you wont regret it :turned:
  14. get yourself onto xp dan, i can send you a disc if you want :turned: I have no problems with firewire with xp pro. What cam, comp and firewire card are you using?
  15. that was proper inspiring stuff, ive alrady been out trying to spin it up as it were. You may see some footage of my attempts at some point.
  16. I'd say you need to go and watch do the goon again then, yes matt does do quite a lot of what could be said are bmx inspired moves, however, they all have a trials element in them, yes bunnyhop gaps may not seem like a "trials" move to you, but they are still landed on the backwheel and are often kept there. Bunnyhopping up stuff is probably the most effective way of getting up massive stuff, as shown by tunni!!!! Also you will see that lots of Matt's moves are made up of 180 endos and rear wheel spins which are essential trials moves, just put together in different ways to you use them. Can you say to me you have never done a bunnyhop up on your bike? no, well in that case, i wouldnt argue against any style, there are no two distinct ways riding will go, i do a happy medium of bmxy stuff and "pure" trials. I'd have a look at exactly the move you use when you ride and then have another look at what you class as BMXy videos before drawing too many conclusions, you will probably be shocked about how many moves you share, yes you may not manual, and Matt doesnt sidehop over houses, but you will find there arent that many differences if you look beyond the percieved style. It is all trials afterall.
  17. pure trials is what i'd use to describe uci comp style riding. real trials is what we all ride, whether it be natural street, comp style or bmx type moves on a trials bike, we all ride essentially similar bike and have the same fundamental skill set of backhops and sidehops etc, so does it really matter? Wouldnt trials just be boring if everyone was striving to do the same moves? Yes we all may be able to get up something bigger, if that was all we tried, but is that the real point of trials? I think trials is all about having fun on your bike, i am pretty sure thats how it started out, people just mucking about seeing what they could rideover round through between etc, and in what different ways. Some of todays trials riders focus on how far and high they can take this philosophy, whilst others see how many different ways they can think of to do things. We are afterall though all riding trials.
  18. im now puzzled, i am at 100% and have completed everything, yet the wide body kit is still not unlocked (Y)
  19. im guessing your serial key is stored within the speed file that you replace when you crack the game, therefore shafting you for registering on the net. oh well ill have to get a LAN game going instead.
  20. well i've found one, but my cd key is already registered :P i wonder if you can change it without re-installing the game?
  21. anyone got the crack including the update they can send me, otherwise its no online gaming for me :P
  22. hmmm, go and check you have all the upgrades, i remember it being close at one point, i think i had to cover my car in graphics and names to get it to tip over into the next star.
  23. i would advise you to stick with one car until you have it fully internally pimped as trying to mod new cars every time your sponsors allow one kills your finances and you end up not being able to win races :( i did a bit of fettling last night and managed to get this performance on the drag test track.
