i know danny smith did it a while back when he was riding with prawn. i think so long as it wasnt laced radially it should be covered, don't quote me on that though.

Unlucky, sounds like you were a victim of a wrong place at the wrong time incident. These sort of people are on the increase everywhere these days. One of my uni housemates got the daylights beaten out of him last week, the reason why? well a guy had hit one of his female mates because she turned down his advances :o he didnt start anything just asked the guy to leave her alone. Then when walking home him and a couple of his mates got set upon by a group of 6 asians. No-where seems safe these days. I'm getting fed up with it. The area i live in at home in north london used to be pretty nice with ne real incidents, but in the past 5 years it has steadily gone downhill, until now there are stabbings and murders happening on a weekly basis!!!!

i have a set of dianese pro-air knee/shin guards, wore them for a bit when i was learning, but found they are too bulky now. Maybe try and find some just shin guards, as it is the knee part that makes compressing/folding yourself up quite difficult.

i have been and still am running a maxxis DH tube in the rear. Its been going over a year now without any punctures :ermm: I like having the piece of mind that i can land a bit heavy and not get a pinch. So long as the tube isnt stretched too far, i.e use a 2.3 tube in a 2.3 tyre, then it should be fine.

tarty isnt the only person on here with a t-rex, and so the question could have been answered by many people. Ad doesn't have time to answer everything on here, and indeed didn't answer this question. Why not grow up and stop trying to cause conflict.
-
you are referring to the front he folded, no? if so then that was an xc rim, and so cant come as too much of a shock. I believe the 24" rims are the same construction as the 26" DH rims which several top sponsered riders run. If they can survive a DH run at the worlds then i would imagine they are pretty strong!!

I'm not in the market for one as i already have one, but i just wanted to say that both the tee itself and the printing are good quality. The tee seems to be very similar to fox tees in quality and construction :ermm: and for the price you cant go wrong!!

jeeeeezzzzzz everyone, Luke's only trying to relay something he heard through the grape vine that isn't yet common knowledge. He didn't have to say anything!!!! He did to give us something to talk about, not bitch at him and question his sources. The forum is getting a bit too skeptical and bitchey these days. Luke has a lot of insider contacts and so i'm not suprised that he hears things before the rest of us. Cheers for the info Luke. As i said, it certainly would be interesting to see how a large manufacturer fairs in the trials market.
-
Sounds like another manufacturer, and a major one at that, is finally sitting up and taking notice of trials. Hopefully they will manage to put a decent frame/range of stuff together  Good luck to the lad, it has to be exciting being asked to help develop a frame.

Recieved my t-shirt yesterday:) The design is good, and the quality of both the tee itself and the printing is very good. Come on guys and gals, get ordering, its for a good cause and the product is both visually good and good quality.
-
looking at the frame design, and being an engineer too (even doing a module in bike frame design ) i would say the place highlighted is no more likely to break than most welds on most frames. The fact that the thin section is welded along, is not really too much of a problem, all the closed ended gussetts you see on frames all over the place is more of a problem than this. If i had one of these frames i wouldnt be worried.

that would be me not reading the post then :">

nice system, although it wont work without any RAM (N)
-
are you blooding it with the correct blood kit? if not they are very hard to bleed well.
-
in a word, No it doesnt make sence!!!!! basically, you run a wide rim, get a decent tyre, and a tube designed for that width, cover it in chalk and leave punctures in the past.

They even used Hope discs :o I can't wait for fuel cell technology to take off. The combination of that and bio diesel should result in much less polution from cars.

i am a great fan of cambridge audio for the budget end of the market, but have no experience with the higher end stuff, but if the build quality and sound is anything to go by then they will also be immense. As for NAD equipment, my uncle has a complete NAD setup and it seems very good indeed, the sound quality was extremely good at both low and high volumes for a range of music types. I see both your choices are available from richer sounds, i suggest you try and visit one of their shops that has both items available for test, and maybe take your speakers in with you if you intend to continue using them to see what the whole setup will sound like :o Oh and no comment about your music collection :P

the only chain i would recommend these days is the KMC Kool, i have had a geared version for nion a year now and its still going strong. I have got through countless sram and taya chains, and just plain dont trust anything else these days.

what tyre are you using as i find this have the biggest bearing on whether you get any pinches or not. what inner tube are you running and what size tyre is it meant to fit, it is important that the inner tube be specified for a large volume tyre else it is stretched very thin and will succumb to pinches more easily. finally, try putting some chalk dust (sanding a block of the stuff that comes in puncture repair kits) all over the inside of the tyre and outside of the tube, this should help the tube move within the tyre and let it slip out from between the rim and the object you land on reducing the probability of pinching. i have a onza ronnie rim and maxxis minion dual ply on the rear and havent had a puncture to date with this setup in the 5 months i have been running it, and i have punded the rim onto some corners pretty damn hard.

are you sure you have the right brazing rod? If the steel is glowing yet the brazing rod wont melt then it would sugest that you havent? I'm no expert but it seems a reasonable assumption.

being the student i use the good ol' clippers for that freeest of free haircuts, basically longest attachment (no 8?) all over, but only when it gets soo long it starts going curly. I keep leaving it longer and longer before i cut it recently, in the hope that i will eventually not care about it looking shit shilst growing long and leave it. I just need to find a way of it looking reasonable when its at the in between length.

ive never had anything isis, and to be honest i dont really see the need for me. I have never snapped a bb axel or rounded off any cranks (that includes powerpoos, dewhores and burns). They may be a tiny bit stiffer, but i havent had any problems with my ol' square tapers.

i'd say supertackys, i have one on the rear and a slow reezay on the front, running about 20psi in both, they have lasted me about 5 months but are in need of replacement now.
-
the easiest way to do it is just to take the wheel into a local bearing suppliers, they will match the in tact bearing.

the higher the viscocity the thicker the fluid, i think you mean low viscocity (Y)
