  1. Yet again Supercycles come up with the goods :D Yet more evidense of their striving for good customer service, which can only be a good thing. Any chance of getting a properly focussed photo of the breakage before you send them back, i'd be interested to see the failure in more detail :P
  2. nice ideas there, good to see some innovations are going to be tested. I like the thoeries behind the changes, hopefully they will end up on a production bike in some guise or other. Glad to see your not affraid to show the world your innovations.
  3. Rd 1 YMSA Comp series Location: burrycliffe quarry Date: 24/04/2005 ID: 53118
  4. Managed to sort everything out so ill be there, my first comp, i'm all excited
  5. I voted NO, as i have a medical condition which is ongoing and requires three prescriptions a month. However unlike people with diabetes, astma or anything like that which is an ongoing medical condition, i have to pay for all my prescriptions and so am massively worse off through no fault of my own. In my opion i don't think smokers should get free treatment, yes they are paying tax on their cigarettes but in their smokling of them in public places they are degrading the health of everyone around them too. Personally i can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke, and think they should be banned in public places.
  6. if you tried swapping the psu into the new case and it just beeps then it sounds like it isnt a psu problem. If you refer to your motherboard manual it should tell you what the different beeping (or post beeps) mean and what is wrong. When i put my new Abit NF7-s motherboard into my pc it didnt boot to begin with, but a quick look in the manual told me the graphics card wasnt plugged in or connected properly, it transpired that due to the poor quality of my case i cant put the bolt that holds the card into the slot in else it pulls it wonky causing the problem during boot.
  7. to illustrate the whole reach vs wheelbase thing, a base and a t-rex have the same distance between the bb and the top of the headtube, while one is more laid out flat than the other, the distances are still the same, however the wheelbases differ by around 40mm due to the base having a steep headangle and the t-rex having a slacker head angle.
  8. I am finally biting the bullet and going to my first trial next weekend. Should be a good laugh, and i might even suprise myself and not come last. I haven't been to one before as i hadnt really ridden natural and there arent any trials down south that i fancied going to (the thought of muddy banks doesnt really appeal), and i dont have a car up at uni so i have to ponse lifts. Anyway i'm really looking forward to it, if you see me at the YMSA comp don't be shy, come and say hello, ill be on Ad's old t-rex prototype with the funkier than normal flames (Y)
  9. i ran a 2.5 minion dual ply on a 521, at about 20psi i didnt get much fold riding street, i guess natural may have been a different story though
  10. generally if its a popular song, dont go for the one with the most sources, try getting one with only a few, say 5 sources, as it is more likely to not be corrupt. Bearshare does have some spyware with it, however nothing a .quick sweep with spysweeper straight after installation cant take care of.
  11. im guessing the position of the taper with respect to the threaded part is different. Either that or they are made from a cheesier material which deforms more easily when tightened onto the bb moving the whole lot closer to the bb. For example my old powerpoos and dewhores to a certain extent ended up a lot further onto the tapers once they had bedded in and been repeatedly tightened when compared to my burns which are made from a harder material which deforms less.
  12. i am currently running a 68x127.5 BB on a borrow rex frame and it fits my burns with a 22t ring without any problems.
  13. classic shells have a smaller diameter non drive-side flange and so need longer spokes, i think the driveside ones are the same no matter what hub it is.

    Computer Help

have you tried a simple driver update from the device manager, expand the device that isnt working correctly, right click then update driver, it may ask you if you want to look online for it, allow it to do this and it may well sort your problem. Either that or try running the windows update software, then look in the drivers section, you may find it sitting waiting for you there.
  15. im guessing he is talking abou the shipping supercycles charge them to get the stuff to Guernsey in the first place.
  16. spoke lengths should be 250mm and 245mm acording to the spokecalc i have. I guess Tartybikes would have those in stock in sapim race spokes, which is what both my wheels are built with, and i have had no problems with them, and your a smoother rider than me.
  17. amen, we have no job, we tend to help if possible. Abusing someone who points out that you shouldnt be posting the same thing all over the place (read the guidlines if you need a hint of where you should go if in doubt) is hardly the sort of behaviour that is expected. If you posted a question in the wrong section PM a mod or ask in the thread that it be moved, don't just type it out again in all the different forums. If you want to abuse people have fun on the MBUK forum, don't spoil this one.
  18. if you are running out of hard disc space then compressing them is the only real option i guess its either that or going through and deleting all your old files. You may want to check your temp internet file settings if you have a small hard disc, also the system restore settings, as they take up a fair amount of room if they are set to default.
  19. if your under 18 you wont be able to buy anything on credit. It's the law. It is basically the same as having a loan, and you cant get one of those, so you cant get credit. Same as with contract mobile phones and most other things.
  20. Hopefully that will help lessen the burdon on trials-shack too :S
  21. exactly why i have one. Although i finally put a tiny dent in mine this evening, wlthough it was probably down to about 12 or 13 psi by then due to the speeding up slow puncture :)
  22. 23.4Gb 1300 files all compressed downloaded vids as that doesnt include my own ripped footage from a camera.
  23. i'd like to go, but im not sure ill have the time :ermm:
  24. would they :ermm: i would happily pay up to a fiver a month for the service si provides, its much better than anything else on the net.
  25. how on earth have you managed to do that!! I have a ronnie on my stock and have been rimming out severely recently (17/18PSI) and havent managed to dent it at all. Thats after 3 light grinds and 6 months riding. I weigh in at 11.5 stone too.
