Why don't you look for something a little smaller like a Honda CB1 400 or a CB350? They're both nice looking bikes, extremely reliable and as comfortable as they get. I just can't see it's a good idea going straight to a massive bike when you're 17 if you have no previous experience on the road. Fair enough that you've ridden motorbikes before, but riding on the road is a completely different story to riding say...on an airfield or a private field or wherever you may have been. When you take your Standard A test at 17 you'll be riding a 125 for a few days and taking the test on it (oh and if you do your CBT when you're 17 it'll be on a 125 too) but passing your test on a 125 then jumping onto a massive bike with only the road experience from your CBT and bike test (an absolutely marginal amount) just doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

To be fair I think it would be a lot simpler if you could just ask her to wait to buy you a bike until your 17th birthday...keeping a bike in good condition without using it for an entire year isn't really all too straightforward or cost effective... Also if you're not even 16 yet you might wanna start off with something small with gears for your 16th and then take the leap when you're 17 so you'll have a year's road experience before jumping onto a much more powerful motorbike! You could always ask her to put the money aside until you're 17 and not spend it?

Try turning the Master and Wave volumes down on your sound options and turn your speakers up to compensate. Windows volume just adds gain on the signal instead of amplifying it so it sounds shit at high volumes. Failing that, change the tone/EQ on your guitar/amp so the high end isn't so loud.

Cheers all for your input, but the thing is that she doesn't actually appear to be fake at all - we're both aware she has ex problems so its' not just her trying to hide things from me. She's told me that she wants to get over him, and I've said to her that i'm there if she needs me but ultimately it's up to her to sort it out. Maybe i'm being naive but i reckon she is genuine, which is why i'm sticking with her. She rang me last night saying she's really worried she's gonna lose me, and that she just had a brainless moment when she nailed her ex. I've basically said to her 'dont take the piss and i wont run a mile' so if she for example sleeps with her ex again or whatever, that's it. Then of course there's the question of whether i'd know if she had or not; well i'm just gonna follow my senses when it comes to believing her or not. If needs be, i'm always willing to cut my losses and f**k off but in this case i don't feel it's necessary; not cause i'm desperate (thanks spacemunkee) but rather cause i'm interested and I wanna see how things go for my curiosity if nothing else!

Haha great advice guys. And nah i can't imagine her lying about it - i'm actually quite pleased she told me instead of not. She said she'd rather start things off honestly instead of on a lie cause i would've only found out at a later point anyway. Every girl i've ever been with has almost always started off with something sexual so i'd rather fancy a change of plan this time round - she'll get a good nailing at some point though but she'll have to work for it i reckon! Right basically i met this girl a few weeks back, and with no exaggeration, she is the NICEST girl I've ever met. She's funny, confident, intelligent (this is a big f**king sigh of relief, seriously), playful but relatively sensible and really bloody hot too. So. She came to my house today, and we were chatting and flirting and shit and she started bugging me about sex etc so i asked her when was the last time she got laid - she tells me SUNDAY. Yesterday she told me the only person she's ever slept with was her ex-boyfriend, so to put two and two together.... I feel really f**king dejected at the moment - i'm not a jealous type of guy but christ i had a long long conversation with her about it; she even claims that she likes me so so much and wants me to be all hers etc and i can't help but feel like she's really f**king pretentious now.... I'm not gonna run a mile from her though, i'm gonna stick with her cause she needs it - helping her is something i'm willing to do for her if she'll let me... Another annoying thing about her is that she's bluntly told me to rail her on a few occasions but at other times has called me a man-whore cause she thinks that i'm easy; so just to piss her off i'm not gonna give her anything she wants until she stops offending me...

I recorded a song in 2000 for my grandads funeral which is on a disk in my MIDI piano (its a midi recording). I found it again the other night and it actually made me cry! Also a lot of Sigur Rós songs remind me of times with my now ex-girlfriend, which is good but not good. A few days after i broke up with her my favourite sigur ros song came on in the car and that was pretty upsetting to be fair. A lot of old Blink 182 and Green Day stuff reminds me of being young and simple which seems so nice compared to these days, where everything has a meaning and a consequence, but oh well.
