  1. Systems & Control GCSE :">
  2. I thought about pissing in the shower the other day cause i really needed it, but at the moment my parents are refitting my bathroom so i have to shower at my gran's house up the road, so i can't just go to her house to take a shower and piss in it, can I? >_< Soo i ran downstairs to the dedicated toilet (Y)
  3. If you think it's to do with power saving, go to Start > Control Panel > Power Options and change all of the drop downs to 'never' on the first page and deselect any options on the next few tabs that may be relevant.
  4. I managed to almost do a 2.5ft front hook up a slightly sloped wall yesterday, but i can only manage to get it to bashguard. (read as: I suck.) What I do is to get the front wheel up i push up and back (read: go to manual) then just chuck my weight forward to unweight the back as much as possible. The two guys I ride with (also on mods) have got hold of it really well, one of them via the method i described above and the other by bunny hopping (he can bunny hop up a 3ft wall and make it look smooooth (Y)
  5. That's fair enough, I swear the XTs had a 128-bit memory interface though, which is why they're so much cheaper...oh well (Y) Anyway, the point i'm trying to put forward is that i used to be able to run Planetside on medium settings at 800x600 on a 9200SE with 128mb memory at around 40fps (Y) So I reckon that the turdiness of the performance is down to graphics settings. MrMonkey, did you have AA and AF off in Planetside settings or on the nVidia gfx menu settings?
  6. WinVNC. This program is simple to use, and you can set the server up with a username and password system. Install the program on both the laptop and desktop and you'll be able to access the desktop via network and control the computer using the laptop.
  7. You shouldn't have a problem with FPS unless you turn the settings up (Y) The 5**0XT series are the approximate equivalent of the ATi 9***SE series, which are the worst performing of the 9*** series, meaning that the XT cards can't have too much expected of them. There won't be a problem with the DX compatability as the game is DX8 and DX9 cards are backwards compatible with all versions of DX (even though any cards before the nVidia 6*** series are only DX8.1). The only thing i can think of is to close down all background programs before playing the game and turn the graphics settings down in the game, an overclock's performance gain will be negligible to say the least.... Hope this helps :( Edit: No fan-boy comments please :o
  8. How much space is left on your hard drive? You need a certain amount of space (almost always over 400mb) for a PCs 'Swap file' which uses the hard drive as memory to move files around. Try freeing up some hdd space and see what happens :)
  9. That bashring looks very nice from what we can make out of it :- Use the macro if your camera has it or if possible could you take a distanced pic of it please? All looks good, i'm not a fan of the bright red tires though
  10. Is this a gay porn network that you use? :) I use BitTorrent.
  11. I've been out riding for about....four or five hours at the most, me, Mike and a few others have been out till just before midnight before.
  12. Hello! I have a new phone and number! It is: 07854******! Loads of love, Laura xxxxxxx' From my friend girl (Y)
  13. Well if i've picked up the mood correctly, it's general consensus that Head Doctors are shite, so that could be your answer.
  14. Heat it up instead of making it cold, hopefully the seat tube will expand more than the seat post.
  15. It's called a Spork, fool! (Y)
  16. It may sound horrendously corny but laying down in a back garden at night and staring at the stars (blocking out all of the bloody orange street lights and such) just makes me think about things i would never think about in every day normal life, I just feel really calm and....tame :) It's even better if you do the exact above whilst being plastered and/or mashed though :)
  17. Tiger Bread + Two medium-thin slices of mild cheddar + a couple of bits of chicken + a few lettuce leaves (whole) = the most amazingly delicious sandwich ever created.
  18. Tesco Value Milk Chocolate Eclairs (the chewy toffee things, not the bakery things) which are retardedly delicious (even more so than cadbury's) and at 35p as opposed to Cadbury's £1 are a bargain :)
  19. Ad-Aware, Search & Destroy etc etc Failing that, reinstall Windows.

  22. You need to log into Steam with a legit Half-Life 2 account, then set it to offline mode every time you start Steam. May i warn you that if you both get caught logged onto the same account in two places at any one time, the account will be frozen :D" Edit: The CD key can only ever be registered to one Steam account, so there's no point even trying to use it on a new account.
