Does anyone know of any alternative companies that make these clamp on V adaptors? I don't really want to spend £25 on a pair, as I'll still have to buy stuff on top of that.

Ooer! Thanks for your help guys

My band is Sicarii. We've done a fair few gigs locally and we're in talks with our local studio about recordings and shit. We're going to be signed on their Indie label (Four Aces Records) within 8 months and they're going to work with us to produce a 13-14 track album. We were asked to go on tour with Architects and The Chariot later this year if we got a demo CD together and the guy from Architects liked it, but we haven't got anything together due to money and various other shit. Just as a disclaimer, the song on our profile was uploaded by our bored bassist, and it's absolutely not ours. I'm the drummer by the way, and as a little treat here's a picture of my drum kit cause i looove it!

Hey all, I was just wondering (after doing a brief search) if people can help me with forks and stuff for 24" cruisers. I'm looking for rigid forks with Vee mounts and possibly a disc mount for a DK General Lee 24" BMX/cruiser thing. Is it possible to use 26" mountain bike forks and either adjust the vees or use a different rotor/adaptor on the disc? I can't seem to find dedicated forks for a 24" bike anywhere, hence this topic Thanks in advance! Mike.

Telewest do loads of free upgrades! I'm on a connection that was 1mb when we initially bought it, and is now at 2mb for the same price, via free upgrades (N) I've had download speeds of about 80000kb/s before, for about 1/20th of a second, which managed to download most of a trials video in that time B) I've also had downloads going constantly at 500kb/s before, which is bloody mental :D

The bloody school didn't tell ANYONE about it so when the bell rang everyone grabbed their bags and went to leave the classroom as in the fire drill....ended up wasting like 15 seconds cause the teacher was shouting at us to sit down and shut up

And we all know why Microsoft is called what it's called....
-
Pfft, almost every semi-enthusiast has upgraded by now! Massive thread with pics of the lates Longhorn build. Looks rather nice (Y) I'm liking the transparency effects on the taskbar and window title bar.

It's called Avalon, that's the one. So yeah, does the Beta include it?
-
Does the beta version include the 3D interface thingy? I can't remember what it was called (Y)

'Longhorn' is the codename for the next version of Microsoft Windows, which is planned to be released Q3 2006 (i think) but keeps being delayed as Microsoft suck with release times. It's more likely for Win XP SP3 to be released before Longhorn is out.... Microsoft have started exclusive Longhorn beta testing for their...err....beta testers, obviously (Y) so at least we know Microsoft are getting something done...

It's pretty cool, but only 31 cities in the USA are ones that are in good detail, pretty much everwhere else looks crap. Even some of the satellite pictures they used in those 31 cities are up to 3 years old so it's obviously not got any more recent developments.

I've got one goldfish which has turned white/grey and my sister has a really cool rabbit called Bubbles (N) I really want a kitten but my parents think it'll just be a complete pain in the arse. My girlfriend's getting a kitten though so i'll just put it under my top and take it home :P

Has anyone here watched Haggard? It's their latest movie after CKY4, but it's not just a group of clips, it's got a story line and all of that....It's still funny as hell though :turned:

The TF watermark is over the price, but it's £236.91 for a full system. While we're on the subject, i've recently picked up a semi-decent mobo, processor, ram and psu you could have off of me for a price below your budget, i've got a case for it all to go in and a spare 52x cd-rom, but the only thing i don't have spare is a hard drive. Any good to you? Edit: My motherboard etc also comes with a 3-port firewire card that fits into the ACR slot on the mobo. My motherboard has built-in graphics by the way.

Why don't you get the broadband connection, buy a £25 wireless router and then if you don't already have it on your laptop, buy a £15 PCMCIA wireless card and fit that, giving you the ability to use the internet anywhere in your house....
