  1. Before it got nicked, I had a Saracen Mantra, and it was surprisingly nice to ride around! It felt pretty light to ride even on high gears, and it was agile at anything provided the tyres were pumped up enough, as the one I bought had 2.6" Nokians on it. It was pretty nice to jump too (local BMX dirt track) as the forks aren't massively absorbant but they're enough to make things feel pretty swish. The only gripe I had with mine is that the front disc was undrilled so after not much braking it would turn to shit, and at the time I didn't really know much about disc brakes
  2. Lol, nah it's me when I was a little 'merry'
  3. Yeah, just look at his hair cut <---- (Edit: Only kidding dude ) A picture of me taken today [attachmentid=5612] And an awesome one also taken on Photo Booth with the funky effects on my brother's Macbook [attachmentid=5613]
  4. Heh. On the same topic it's me and my girlfriend's 1 year anniversary tomorrow, and I'm f**king stumped as to what we're gonna do. I've got her some little presents that are related to things in our relationship, and we're gonna go out and get some food which I guess is alright. I'm gonna print out this picture on my printer and frame it for her too as a little present: [attachmentid=5610] But i'm not sure what else to do! Are flowers a cliché or do girls still like them? I've bought my girlfriend flowers now and then before, but I can never tell if they're as nice a gesture as they have been before!
  5. If you've not had a play around with any settings, you're either having overheating problems or your graphics card is dying. Try cleaning the dust and crap out of the heatsink (and fan if it has one) and see if it solves your problem. Edit: Oh I get it, you don't actually have artifacts. In which case, ROFL!
  6. Fair enough I used to use Moongel pads but they got covered in stick dust and bits of crap accumulated from everywhere so I had to chuck them out when they lost their adhesive power. And yes, I did try cleaning them as instructed on the pot but it didn't work I haven't bothered buying any more since, as 6 or 7 quid is a bit steep for 4 pads!
  7. It's probably the non-batter skins I have on the bottom, they're Premier Cl Response skins which are old and poo. I'll probably be buying a whole kit of Evans EC3 skins sometime soon, they look and apparently sound awesome.
  8. Well i've got a tracking number now and the bike's been picked up, so i'll post back here when it's been delivered
  9. Well. I'm under the impression that this is now sorted out, and i've been told that the bike WILL be sent tomorrow, as the cheque has been cancelled and the money has been paypalled directly because of a bit of a mess up with the cheque. If I don't get an invoice number tomorrow, I won't be a happy bunny, but we'll just have to wait and see what happens

  12. My vote [attachmentid=5523] That's an ooooooold picture
  13. Cheers guys. I didn't want to have complain about it this way Nicky, but it seems this has been the only way to actually get some progress. I look forward to your call!
  14. To be honest mate this isn't my problem. I've even told you on MSN how to get a box from a local shop or elsewhere. I don't care how much it's going to cost you to post it, as you agreed the price of £120 posted. I apologise about the MSN screwing up earlier, it has been temperamental for me too recently so I do apologise for that. I'll PM you my mobile number mate.
  15. By the way his forum nickname is Nickyw <--- Click.
  16. Hey all, A deal is currently underway between me and Nicky. I've sent him a cheque for £120 for a DK bike, which he's received. He stated last week that he'll send the bike as soon as he got the cheque. On the day he told me he got the cheque, I asked if he'd sent it and he said no. He said he was waiting for his Koxx frame to arrive. This arrived this Monday (19th). When I asked Nicky if he'd got anywhere closer to sending the bike, he told me that he's been busy over the past few weeks and will send it as soon as possible, but with no guarantee of a date that he'd have sent it by. It's now Wednesday, and Nicky's not taken any steps towards sending me the bike. He told me on MSN today that he wants me to come and pick the bike up, or meet him halfway. This isn't particularly practical as he lives in Nottingham, which is some 200 miles away from me in Trowbridge. Nicky's tried to present alternatives to posting it such as me buying a train ticket and meeting him at his train station and going back with the bike, or me driving up to get it, which is completely unacceptable, as Nicky's not even given me a reason why he's apprehensive to post the bike, and I have asked him on more than one occasion. At the point in the conversation on MSN where Nicky wanted to ring me, he asked for my number and when I explained to ring my mobile phone, he stopped talking. He's been active on the forum since he stopped talking, and he's now either offline from MSN or he's blocked me. If anyone can either talk to him themselves or PM me his phone number, i'd appreciate it very much. Cheers, Mike.
  17. Another brilliant use for beer is as an oil-replacement when cooking things. Instead of cooking sausages with oil, try using beer. They actually turn out pretty damn nice!
  18. Well they're tuned fine, I just don't like the excess ring I get from them (Premier APK)
  19. Well in the zip folder, the first few pictures are named with what they are... The cables look like they're the peripheral cables for that motherboard to connect sound, video, parallel/serial ports etc to their respective speakers/screens/printers/whatever.
  20. You need something with a decent resolution and a high Lumens rating. I have no idea about TV projectors, but if you have TV-in on your computer you could put your TV through there, and use a PC projector. These are a few decent examples. Clicky one Clicky two They connect via the VGA-out on the pc, pretty simple stuff really
  21. Ooh here's another one I found from my prom party [attachmentid=5336] And another one from a coach trip last year before I got my hair cut. [attachmentid=5337]
  22. Here's one I thought i'd deleted. [attachmentid=5329] Here's an interesting one of a friend-girl of mine! [attachmentid=5330]
  23. Not really. What's the point in spending money on a KVM? I don't need to save any space on my desk, and I get along fine using 2 keyboards and 2 mice. KVMs also give you a delay and various problems when switching peripherals between computers, or so i've found. I could use Synergy, but I just can't be arsed really when this set up is fine as it is.
  24. Here's my set up. The middle (Dell 2001FP) and right (LG 1915S) screens are on my main computer (bottom one, black) and the left screen (dan 17" CRT) is on the top computer (my dads new one which I built). It's quite a nifty set-up really, cause I just mong about between computers. The Dell screen also has a PS2 plugged into the composite port, and my speakers have a stereo splitter plugged into them which has both the PC input and the PS2 input so I can put music on and switch the screen over to the PS2 and listen to that too.
