well mate, I've had my fourplay about 3 months and I'm only starting to progress with hops now, it takes time, a long time! it's frustrating but keep at it.. for front wheel control, practice always on grass! you'll find the balance point over time . with the back wheel control, you could try putting the front wheel up on an object and pull backwards and start trying to hop, as you rock back you'll start to find a balance point, most of your hops will be backwards, but over time you'll start to be able to holdit in place. Ryan leech, mastering the art of trials onYouTube it worth looking at, and the thinkbike tutorials. also as everyone will tell you, practice practice practice! hope it helps Bernard

I'd tend to lean toward releasing them at the end, maybe over the course of a release week, dropping a few each day., to me, If people work hard on creating something original,and interpreting the competition their own way and they submit it, I think it would allow people to simply copy, or one up the videos they've got to see early,sort of aiding people who aren't willing to think of their own ideas? just my opinion anyway

I've been using the enduro pads, front and rear and they're pretty dam good, and they seem to be holding up well

welcome! I'm only starting out myself, but I can tell you now for sure, it's a very tough discipline to even get the basics right, but all the skills are totally transferable, you'll notice your overall bike control improve and your balance obviously. as for the choice of bike, it depends on what style of riding you are going for, but the for sale thread has a few bargains!
