  1. It kinda looks like the rider is wearing a full face helmet !
  2. Congratulations ! Awesome video , I'll certainly be keeping this one . You have some great locations , and seem to make the most of 'em .
  3. Your question is how much sleep per DAY . In my case , that's correct , I work as Night Security at hotels from 23:00 - 07:00 . As a result , I sleep during the day from like 09:00- 4-5 in the afternoon . Can't remember the last time I saw daylight ! I'll be craving the sustenance that only blood can supply next >_< .
  4. Hmmm...interesting design , if unneccesarily overengineered , then given a cheapo paintjob . My problem with rear discs for trials is that most disc brakes are awesome at decelaration , but we require lock , preventing the wheel from moving entirely , forward or back . That said , Caisso's a Goddamned talented rider , I suspect if you're smooth enough , you CAN run a disc .
  5. aah...inventiveness , precision , style ... where can I get some ? :( . Often it's the little technical , accurate things that are most difficult , whereas outsiders are easily impressed by the obvious , but easy moves / tricks .
  6. Sounds like a very attractive bike , perhaps posting pictures might help estimations of value . Also the purchase date and how it's been treated / ridden or any repair / upgrade history will give a fair idea . Either way , I'm sure it'll be sought after , sounds good on paper ( monitor. )
  7. Well it ain't a T-Rex , but very good looking yellowness : Belongs to DTT Echo Team . Yellow , perfect for summer ! :(
  8. I don't have much choice in the matter , street all the way . Where I live the only natural you'll find is dog s**t on the street . :(

    Base

Yay ! Go BASE ! Nice looking bicycle , very fond of the TA26 , considering going Sans saddle with mine.
  10. Oh , yes indeed . That's a really good lookin'bike , and I don't even like yellow . A friend of mine rides one of these , and they're so well made .
  11. Hmmm... :- Kinda counterproductive , strengthening a mech hanger , wouldn't you think ? The point being it's a weak spot INTENDED to fail , rather than damaging dropouts / mechs . Dunno , could be wrong...
  12. Very cute looking bicycle . Trialsni : you got one of these ? Bored of the Pitbull already :- ? Thanks again for my shiny new Base .
  13. Some of 'em are pretty funny , and well done because they are allowed to splice original footage of big budget movies . Look out for "Panic Room ", Fellowship of the Ring and Star Wars . Search for "MTV" and / or "parody."
  14. Damn you and your natural terrain ! [ / JEALOUS] Seriously , though good shots of nice riding , makes me realise I'm becoming bored of walls and concrete .
  15. I'll not add to what Paul Oliver said above , because he pretty much covered all the bases :- , and I agree entirely . See below for mine . I'll just say it's reliable , good looking , with short chainstays that make for an obedient backwheeler . Go get one .
  16. For what it's worth , I'm gonna say that I kinda like the way it looks . Unfortunately , looks alone will never convince anyone to buy a bike , and if it simply doesn't ride comfortably , no amount of visual appeal will rescue it . Top marks for trying to break ( or in this case , exaggerate ) the mould , though . Cute 'n stuff , but uneccesary given the recent release of this beauty : which I would prefer over almost any bike , let alone the Ninja .
  17. Zoo's excellent Pitbull frame is decent indeed , but will feel radically different to your Planet - X . Make sure to try several frames / bikes if you attend a group ride , this can help to get a feel for differing geometries and a taste for what rides comfortably .
  18. I think our sport is gradually getting more participants , but it may seem to be getting larger as a result of increased media exposure . It's also the case that the more people who ride , then more they will inspire others to attempt it . Unfortunately , the first year is crucial to whether someone continues with it , as it's pretty frustrating learning the basics , and having only shredded shins to show for it . I've noticed a few more people attempting tricks on bikes since I moved to my town . Incidentally , I like men :) .

    T.m Show...

2 brief clips , well worth the watch / Download , found on O.T.N . It's Thibault Marriaux's T.M show , kinda grainy footage , but very impressive demo riding , and some great coordinated timing . Some good hopups off objects , too. They ride MBK's I believe , not too sure though . Falls into repetition at times , but entertaining enough . Enjoy : http://www.xela-fr.com/tmshow/videos/TMSshowIt.wmv and also : http://www.xela-fr.com/tmshow/videos/TMSTDS.wmv
  20. Dissapointing indeed , there was a time when purple ruled the world , in the distant days of DCD's . I mourn the demise of colour variations in componentry , I need my blue fix . Oh well , at least I still have 2 pairs of blue sidewalled Schwalbe Space tyres .
  21. MathudsO 's right . Surely you can achieve ideal chain tension without the tensioner , given that you're running a halflink chain ? Liking the bash , though . Would it be possible to machine in knurling or teeth to allow it to grip on walls better ?
  22. There's some degree of hostility between several trials riders in Holland , too . Pretty counterproductive really , given that there are only 15-20 people riding trials in the whole dammned country ! Can't we all just get along ? you'd think that riding trials , living in a liberal country noted for relaxed people there'd be some sense of community . Guess not .
  23. Ideally , chainrings and cogs should be replaced when fitting a new chain , too . I don't honestly bother though , just replace my chain every 4 months , and a fresh chainring + cog twice a year .
