  1. There's no telling what new technologies / materials may become available , but I expect we'll see some innovation in techniques . UCI style street ? 24" natural ? etc ...
  2. My vote goes to Onza's Ronnie , seems very reliable , as stated above . I'll be running one soon on my blue Hope hub .
  3. Looking really good , just might persuade me to ditch the old Ultegra rear mech and go proper SS . Liking the mango version , will the final product be available in various colours ? PS : Fatmike , that rear tyre's lookin' a bit bald . (N)
  4. Neat find , loving the Heavy tools clip with like a 17" frame . Always good to see Petr Kraus too , a hugely underrated rider .
  5. Yet another FSA horror story . I hear nothing but bad things about their BBs , and I don't feel inclined to ever try one . I'll stick with Shimano's Octalink , thanks .
  6. Top job , College Boy . This will allow me to complete the collection .
  7. Not one of your stated choices , but my vote goes to Scwalbe's Space 2.35 ( as shown in Base link below . ) . Having tried some of the others stated above , I still massively prefer these , offering excellent grip , pinch protection , and at a resonable weight and wear rate too . If blue's not your thing , they're also avaible in black .
  8. Yeah , I'm riding as we speak ( type ) , while posting this reply on my handlebar mounted laptop . Allright , maybe not , but my l33t geek tendencies are creeping into my trials riding .
  9. I'll stick to jumping on my BASE TA 26 , thanks . (Y) ( Until the chain snaps , causing similar injuries . ) Oh , the ironing ...
  10. You intend to replace the casette ? May I suggest a road casette , with smaller gearing . Having found your ideal front chainring size , the small steps of a road casette will allow you fine tuned variations without the weight of a conventional MTB casette . Good lookin' bike , dude .
  11. Excellent can't wait to see the first entries . I'm sure everyone's got better and had a whole summer to film / ride .
  12. Frame is a warranty replacement , so oficially free , but originally 230 Euro . Rest of spec = 350 - 400 pounds ... Some fine lookin' bicycles here . Any prizes for colour coordination ? (Y)"
  13. Guess I'll add my colour coded Base TA 26 , then ...
  14. Are you certain the crown race is seated all the way down on the steerer tube ? Ensure the headset isn't overtightened , too and as you suggested grease would be a good idea , consult an LBS .
  15. Oh gosh , yes . I'm also running the pads shown above ( except packaged as Barradine ) and they are the best dammned upgrade to my brakeset ever . Lock up when needed , with controllable modulation for stoppies etc.
  16. Glad everything feels better , albeit inexplicable . I had a similar thing this week , but with new riding gloves , boy - I had no idea that would make so much difference , but I'm so much more in touch with the bike .
  17. " Damn you all ! " Sorry , had to be done , got all the DVDs .
  18. Gosh , trialsboy 560 , you're rather concerned with security . Can't see you gettin' infected anytime soon . Safe .
  19. Good design or not , it's welcoming to see Onza willing to take risks and experiment . Well done .
  20. My desktop = t3h Ub3r l33t !!!11three!! ( Yes , that is a Kylie Minogue video . ) :">
  21. Welcome , hope you learn and stick at it . I expect you'll get linked to Trashzen sooner or later , it's a great site with good videos to learn from . Other than that , practice lots and learn from the peeps you ride with . And yes , Ryan Leech really is awesome .
