  1. Comedy value aside , this is clearly intended for the U.S market . I expect Audi will offer a sleek , modern , hightech angle for the European / U.K advertising campaign . As for the ad itself ... the punchline falls flat and time is wasted establishing the setting .
  2. It does seem kinda disproportional , but their 5 year leakproof warranty is pretty neat .
  3. I reckon you've almost certainly won , I added 3 votes aswell . Any interest from our U.S cousins on Observed Trials.Net ?
  4. Gonna have to leap to the defence of cables here . A correctly set up V-Brake can offer massive stopping power with good modulation at a reasonable weight .
  5. Not bad for the price , I ran one for several months without problems . I was young , I needed the money . As stated above though , they do weigh several tonnes and should be considered a makesift solution until upgrading .
  6. Kinda not giving us much information here dude , but if you like the Aorta , go for it , it seems to be a great frame . Try out other people's bikes to get a feel for differing geometries and setups .
  7. Congratulations , Simon . A great ivestment in and contribution to the the U.K trials scene . :king:
  8. I see you changed Google's search results too , Danny , as per P.M . Lookin' better now .
  9. As suggested above , your Base seems to have a fine spec as is . However , I am here to issue a warning on the one thing that was overlooked : The TA 26 MUST be run with a conventional saddle / seatpost . I've heard of several which were run with "push in " minisaddles , and almost all fractured where the seat tube meets the stays . The same happened to mine , and I learned my lesson . Other than that , seems you have a fine bike , have you removed / discarded the supplied bashplate yet ? Pictures of your fine steed ?
  10. There's a 3 ? Cool ! Hypercube ( cube 2 ) is great , I love the sadistic , clinical design of the rooms and the mystery of who they are / how they got there . " you see , a hypercube is just a theoretical construct , an abstract creation ..." " So do you know how to get out , then ? " " Well ... uh , no . " Properly claustrophobic film , brings out the importance of acting , given the sparse surroundings . No more spoilers from me As J.T suggested : observe .
  11. BB rise = nonexistant , tensioner = sweet .
  12. What an absurd drop ! It's impressive enough how much horizontal distance he covered , let alone the height . Holy suspension compression ! That's trusting your wheelbuild and setup , if ever I saw it .
  13. Best I can tell you is they were specially manufactured for him by Look / Fournales . T H I S may help ?
  14. I've always configured my brakes so that : Right = front Left = rearUnfortunately , here in Holland , all riders do the opposite denying me the opportunity to test their bikes . Terrible , really that I'm so accustomed to my setup , that I can scarcely do anything much the other way around . Hell , only lived in the United Kingdom for a few years , but my patriotism for Blighty emerges with things like this .
  15. Some great suggestions here , to which I will add : Name of the rose K-PaXAmadeusBandits Fellowship of the RingGattacaAmong others
  16. This ... ...must surely rate amongst the worst productions ever . Such a Godawful story , with wooden acting and ...nevermind , I've lost the will to live .
  17. Oh , to think I used to live in Woking but was only just learning the basics back then . Neat photographs guys , I hope to take my bike to the U.K one day and rinse Woking for old time's sake .
  18. I love it when having done all this preparation , a rider will totally ignore the importance of hydration , then wonder why their hands are shaking and their muscles prematurely tired halfway through a ride . Ensure you take in enough water / fluid before and during a ride .
  19. Nice indoor spot . Some good gaps to front there , sooo have to learn those .
  20. A fixed hub has no ratchet mechanism , so cannot transmit drive . Effectively a front hub to which a chainring or freewheel can be attached . A freehub is a conventional hub with a rotating body for a cassette or sprocket .
  21. Certainly a great buy . As Big Al suggested though , they must be run with a conventional saddle / seatpost combo as opposed to a push in miniseat . My old one ... ...perished , but was replaced by the manufacturer , for which I was very grateful .Go get one .
  22. Quote Sam Holmes : Well , that's my drawing Pwned ! :$ Great work . If that's a quick sketch then the finalised piece would be really impressive . Some creative folk here , nice to combine hobbies too .
  23. Just for some perspective , we Dutch traditionally mock the Belgians . But then they are , well ...kinda Belgian at times , really .
  24. Really cool , relaxed video , the first Tartybikes offering I actually liked .
  25. Great value . Having discarded the supplied bashplate , you're left with a light , flickable bike that feels obedient on the back wheel . Full build pictured in my sig below .
