  1. I expect so , given the rough welding and poor finish . Giant frames tend to be well made with neat detailling , good to see they're still comitted to our sport though . Can't really see 'em releasing this as a full bike though , if at all .
  2. Oh God yes... best looking 24" bike I've ever seen , I think . Great black stealth theme going on there .

    A Sweet Bail

Christ in a taxi , that could have been fatal , you are a fortunate human . Having survived the fall , I would then have died of heart failure . Beyond question .
  4. I feel for you , I've just discovered a fracture in my Base TA26 . Is your frame still under warranty / guarantee ? Had to ask .
  5. A czar XTP oops , I mean Ivan ... stripped of stickers , adorned with blueness by the likes of Echo and Christopher King , set up for streety Singlespeed . With Kate Beckinsale astride it :$
  6. Lookin' great despite the imminent locking / moving of this topic . A little unsure about the bar and stem though , although it may be neccesary to even out the 24's unusual geometry .
  7. Good work , nicely paced action and music , with some nice editing .
  8. I though the idea was more Gothic / creepy as opposed to sacrelgious ?
  9. You clearly still retain the enthusiasm , that's the most important thing . Don't go pushing yourself too hard , as long as you're still having fun on the bike it should be a great summer .
  10. Dhalsim , dude was a nightmare to fight .
  11. At last , an opportunity to make a one emoticon reply :
  12. Gosh...didn't mean to reopen the whole " sprung Vs bolt on " tensioner debate . I guess I'll stick with my locked Ultegra derailleur unless / untill these Echo things become available . One day soon , some company is gonna design and manufacture a good S.S tensioner and make a killing .

    f**k Bmx!

Tailwhip barspin madness ... still don't trust 'em though .
  14. Power has it's uses , but my money's on timing , balance , smoothness . I suspect Sir Martyn of Ashton relied heavily on power early on in his career , and has recently focused increasingly upon technique .
  15. My only problem with your insistence on posting pictures of your Base is that it looks better than mine , and that's colour coordinated to Hell and back too .
  16. That's lookin' really good , especially the uppermost photo where it looks almost insectile , poised and very light . That does it ...when my Base frame perishes , it's a Czar for me . Is yours long or short ?
  17. Yet more excellent footage from Nopogo . I love indoor competitions / shows , it's like laboratory conditions for trials . This ... [attachmentid=3947] = nasty section .
  18. Strange that it " seems to work for about a hour and then slowly declines in power" , this might suggest the bleed was sucesfull , but the problem may lie with pads or the lever itself . Unfortunate also that Magura offers a 5 year leakproof warranty , which is invalidated by not using the suggested blood type . I've spent sooo damned long fettling with hydraulic discs , screw that , I'll stick with a V-brake up front . Hope you get it fixed

    Get 1, Trailer 2

Sick . The rider getting onto an inverted bike's tyres . Looking really well produced and filmed .
  20. Tru that . Which servers do you frequent ? Also , for old school class : Worms , and tekken 3 *** .
  21. Personal prefference really , although more complicated to do with hydraulics than V / cable brakes . In europe , almost all bikes are supplied with the front = left configuration . If you're just starting trials , choose wisely , it'll be hard to unlearn what you learned with . You could try it for a week by simply running the levers inverted , taking care not to stretch cables / hosing .
  22. ...and when you've finished smoking up , you can download the player from HERE : The riding in that clip is so impressive .
  23. Reprazentin' y'all , keep it real . Spoke tensioning nightmare , though .
  24. Grim . It seems the grippier your pedals , the less chance of them slipping , but the worse injury they cause if they do . Incidentally , I win at ANY scar competition , except mine's not trials related . ( Massive surgical scar on chest . )
  25. Having searched here and at most Echo stockists , I'm still unable to find Echo's new stock chain tensioners , as shown in diagram A : [attachmentid=3905] ( GU promotional photo )I figure the blueness would look pretty cool on my bike , as well as saving some weight , but it would have to be pretty damned good to replace my locked Ultegra mech . I also wonder if the design is any good , or will it suffer the same dissapointments as DMR's attempt ? Any ideas on availability / quality ?
