  1. True , but 3rd floor up . Just noticed , the posted picture shows my saddle raised , do I get banned from this forum now ?
  2. Right where I can keep an eye on it .
  3. Scored points like I was dabbing all over the place , but points aside , my bike's character is " playful ."
  4. Yikes ! Is this WHY you removed the fork , or were there no warning signs that the headset was damaged ? I expect Hope will be pretty interested to see this , it's often useful for manufacturers to see how their components fail .
  5. Also when riding , you're switched on and attuned to physical / instinctive motion , you'll be surprised how rapidly you automatically save yourself from injury . The body pretty much overrides logical thought and finds a safe way to avoid / absorb a stack in a fraction of a second . Yeah , I suck at explaining concepts . As long as you're not too tired and are well hydrated , your brain will perform rapid calculations and act upon them causing you to jump clear , stick out your hands etc . Basically , ride full on and trust your reflexes and your body to save itself . Use the force ... I hope I don't even have to mention the confidence boost that a good helmet gives , right ?
  6. I believe OTNzzz is experiencing server problems . They seem to be down quite often recently . As they would say / post "Oh noes. " E D I T : Nevermind , guess they're running again .
  7. Absurd . Awfully hard landing , though .
  8. The tricks & stunts video Thinking that endo hopping was the coolest thing ever . Shame I called myself endohopper , then .
  9. Way to give our already misunderstood sport a bad image .
  10. A ride with Sir Martyn of Ashton and Felix Mucke would make my pitiful life complete . Edit : I would be SOOO outclassed :$
  11. Creepy . I DID actually dream I was rolling a manual , presumably as a result of having posted this thread earlier that night . Further thanks for your input , folks - gonna keep working at this cool yet thoroughly useless move over the coming days . P.S Damn Felix Mucke and all riders capable of doing manuals for making 'em look so effortless .
  12. Well , a month or 2 has passed and I'm beginning to get kinda reasonable stability going , but they're sketchy as Hell . Thanks to your advice I didn't give up on the move entirely , even though it's not strictly speaking a neccesary move . Still considering changing back to a riser bar like an Azonic something or other . Thanks anyway , folks .
  13. Cool , I had been wondering where they all went recently 'cause I was lookin' into getting one myself .
  14. Good looker , sorry about not following up , Pauloliver .
  15. Fit = capable of athletic endurance or Fit = really rather attractive ?
  16. Truly great video , both riding and picture quality / edition . Anxiously awaiting further releases .
  17. Close , but no cigar And yeah , tiny little teeth , but they're entirely harmless .
  18. Fast reply , Krisboats , some psychic connection among Base riders ? Should my stance be like when backhopping ?

  20. ...So I've been practicing manuals for well over 2 years now ( :$ ) and just cannae get 'em right . Yes , I HAVE searched and read all similar posts . I think I understand the move , and I do practice every time I ride , attempting varying speeds , uphill / downhill , pulling up , or starting with a few pedals , but Goddamnit , it just ain't happening . No progression , no common cause of failure , very frustrating . By the way I ride 26" ( shown in sig ) with flat bars - yes , risers would help but surely I can get at least like 5 meters with my setup ? Am I just never gonna get the holy grail of smooth riding ? Any tips ?
  21. Good lookin' lizard , Barber .
  22. Got this little lady , a female bearded dragon called Yoda . [attachmentid=7051]
  23. She's only 4 months old and is called Yoda . She's already well used to regular handling and will calmly sit on my hand / shoulder while I read or watch T.V .
