I was gonna call Photoshop on this one , yet it seems genuine . I cannot see any advantage to be had from this configuration though .

Pretty dissapointing to see such talented riders at such low video quality . Was looking forward to seeing more footage of Danny's absurd style .

Am I hopelessly out of touch by mentioning Vans ? Some of their lighter models ( Rowley XL2's or the newer Churchills ) feel great once worn in and besides , Felix Mucke can't be wrong now , can he ?
-
Oh God no ! Those old blue " Jamie Tomkins " ones with the bracing strut between top and downtubes . Was that even marketed as a trials frame ?
-
front = 2rear = 1A bit of fettling lever reach and angle helped make 1 finger braking feel very natural .

Yay ! The only 2 riders in all Holland reply ! Uh ... yeah , I ride a Base TA26 ( shown in sig ) and am pretty happy with it . Sure , they are somewhat heavy and the 2nd generation had a weakness at the seattube , but the newer ones are fine . Remove the supplied bashplate and deny ever having seen it , and you're left with a decent frame that is stable and obedient on the back wheel ad ideally suited to streety / spinny riding . As for the Evo mounts , I'm afraid I can't comment , as I run V-brakes . ( How terribly unfashionable - I even run a saddle ! ) Tartybikes is offering them for dirt cheap , also I'm hoping Pauloliver might reply - he's owned 2-3 I think and is knowledgable and a jolly decent chap too .

2nd scratchcard I ever bought - 1000 pounds winner ! This was like 6 years ago when I lived in the U.K . The newsagent was all like " yeah , right " , 'till he ran the serial number through the authentification thing . Got me a nice big check in the post , then blew it all on Hi-Fi which got stolen within 2 months of purchase . Since that win , I reckon I've pretty much used up all my luck , no point buying any more .

Sneakily observing this thread with great interest . May have some use for that XTR rear hub after all , it seems . . .

EDIT : Also well aimed at the target audience , because all who browse here / order online with Tarty obviously own P.Cs . Simplified line drawings and clearly written explainations of the procedures with a contents or overview at the top . That said , there are several well written yet largely ignored online mechanics guides ( Sheldon ) that have the advantage of being updated to reflect and describe emerging technologies ( external B.B etc ) , which a P.D.F cannot once distributed . Also ... [attachmentid=8861]

Just thought I'd point out the unintentionally amusing / offensive mistake here . And no , there should be no problems with using a BMX freewheel as long as you select a quality unit and have the BB spacing to accomodate it .

If you now remove the green Zoo ! stickers , then that will indeed be the best lookin' Pitbull ever .

Oh gosh , those frames are so simple and uncomplicated , looks really neat . Nice build , too .

Good going , Meteor . Possibly the first Dutch clip ever submitted here . ( damn you , beat me ) EDIT : "Chronic order ? " A thinly veiled narcotics refference , or misspelling of chronological ? Good to se that sloping wall , I rode there with Julien ( Rambo ) a few times , you seem pretty at home on that Monty . Don't become overly concerned with measuring your progress to the last millimeter , smoothness and fun cannot be measured .

Top Trials Dvd's,what Are You Favorates?
Endohopper replied to steve@banbury-trials's topic in Trials Chat
I'm hoping to get / watch all the new titles for Christmas like GET , Our Summer , Trial Noir etc , but for entertainment value - Dirty tricks & Cunning Stunts . -
Glad to hear Ted is healthy and safe , many congratulations .
-
I see you ride stock , have you considered running a V-brake on the front ?
-
O.K , uh ...that was pretty damned cool riding . THAT is how you make an entertaining trials video.
-
The best way to learn is to hook up with your local group of riders and observe and learn , we're a very welcoming bunch . Vidoes can help to get an idea of the stances and body positioning needed for certain moves .

I have upon my harddisk somewhere a U.K video of a group ride wherein a rider on a yellow "Hawyes" Giant frame seems to have one , and rolls backwards pretty much down a whole street without needing to backpedal . Seems pretty useful , but then I find I can roll fakie just fine by bacpedalling aswell . Come to think of it , that video was pretty f**kin' awesome , was set to Green day's "Long view ." Any ideas / links ?

I had several when I lived in the United Kingdom , but had to give 'em all away to mates when I moved to Holland as they are illegal here So basically in Holland you can indulge in narcotics and prostiution but replica firearms - forget it .

Already among my facourites Great video , nicely done Lovely build on the Belaey frame .Awesome location for a ride .Damn you for being able to roll manuals so smoothly .

Is this a DVD rip ? I wonder if we should be encouraging piracy / sharing . A big budget Hollywood film fine ,they pretty much expect it but we all know trials is rarely lucrative at the best of times . I suspect this topic would be locked instantly if this were a rip of " Our Summer " "Glasseye Trials " or "Trial Noir " etc ...

So new to the sport and already making bad decisions , you are being turned to the dark side .Kidding , 20" seems to be ideal for learning on and are in the majority in the Dutch scene . Meteor , I was glad to meet you , you're becoming a VERY talented rider .
