  1. Funny you should mention that , 'cause uh ... well - no . :$ The pedals , incidentally are DMR V 12s , but most of the original white had scratched off , so it was time for Mr. Spraycan . Sweet ( but heavy ) new stem . And oh Lord I love the sound of a dry greaseless Hope ! 2. Apparently not Shimano , according to my LBS . Dammit , these things were so damn light .
  3. Congratulations , but how good or poor it is will depend on your choice of components , I guess .
  4. Hmmm , tricky as most V levers are pretty much identical in length , although Shimano's Deores appear to be fairly long . Also Avid's levers have a flattened end which you may find comfortable . Perhaps something among these levers takes your fancy ? Failing that , perhaps running 'em at a different angle , for example steeply downwards may be feel more natural .
  5. Most brake levers have reach adjustment screws that allow the lever to sit further inward toward the bar when resting . Specifically , which lever are you running ?
  6. Longer ? What brake system are you running currently ? If it's V's and you think longer levers will help , look into better cable and pads first .
  7. Also one of the few men on earth who can honestly say , as he does in this interview : " ...well , I've been riding professionally for about 15 years now ..." It takes an innovative and talented rider to actually build a career as opposed to a few season's sponsorship .
  8. Nope , it isn't adorned with the likes of Try All , Middleburn or Magura . Yeah , it's a blast to ride . Unique customised signature ultra awesome modified tensioner ( Yeah , OK ... it's a hairband . ) Underrated frames in my opinion , nicely flickable and stable and obedient on the back wheel . Shame I"m terrible at manuals , though .
  9. The connsumate showman and a sponsor's dream . Shame it's such a tiny window . Martyn is the reason MANY riders started and his contribution to the UK scene is immeasurable .
  10. You're not wrong there , but then I've only ever seen it ridden by Captain Kenny Mc . Smooth . Is that disc only too ?
  11. I'm hoping you folks can assist in telling me who manufactures a certain type of crankbolt for ISIS brackets . I had a pair , but lost 'em , and am now lookin' to find a dealer . They're pretty much this type ... ... except they are entirely hollow , and the bolt head is larger ( 10 mm ? ) or so . It's basically a sleeve with a recessed bolt head and obviously threads on the outside to engage in the bracket . They weighed nothing , and retained the cranks tightly , as well as lookin' cool as you could see clean through the bottom bracket . I even bought an expensive 10 ( ? ) mm allen key just for them , whereas all other bolts seem to use 8 . Am I mistaken and they were perhaps Shimano ? Or supplied with some company's bottom bracket ?
  12. Perhaps the lockring securing your casette / SS spacers is slightly contacting the inside of your dropout ?
  13. Very good indeed , decent picture quality , too . Some tough sections there , all the more since it seemed to have rained . Who's the rider on the white Atomz ?
  14. Thanks for your replies , the problem appears to be solved . Guess my life is pretty good when such trivial things are at the forefront of my mind .
  15. Indeed , the icons are in a folder among my other pictures , but it's always been thus without any undue paininassishness . You may be onto something with the whole " some icons can't handle being displayed large " vibe , however . Anyone else had / solved this ?
  16. So , I recently changed many of my desktop icons from the default ones to some better lookin' ones , but recently they've started to revert back to defaults whenever I restart . I now present exhibit A : As you can see , most are intact , but what's the deal with those ugly white square ones ? There seems to be no discernable pattern in which icons are affected , either . I've run a battery of tests and concluded that Spyware / Malware / CIA mind control are not the culprit . If it's any use , I'm running the " use large icons " option . ( Window XP Pro . ) So , uhhh ... any ideas ?
  17. Good lookin' bike there . How's Schwalbe's Big Betty for grip and pinch resistance ?
  18. Thread delivers ! Perhaps it's time for a " most entertaining riding accidents " thread .
  19. You can't just go stating that without tellin' us the almost certainly funny story behind it ... what happened ?
  20. That's the first I've seen Kenny Belaey on the new kinky , curvy Monty , cool . Great vid , but is Felix himself becoming camera shy , or has his style become so smooth that it does not register on film ?
  21. My full name is : Roderick Alexander Munniks De Jongh Von Luchsinger . I also have a neat surgical scar down my entire chest as a result of heart surgery ( still ride pretty well . )

    Hd Video

Guess that's allright , then ... Holy s**t ! You know you're riding at a high level when such an injury is shrugged off so lightly . Loving the HD videos , guys .
  23. Yeah , to me please . Kidding , I'll get some new 'uns . The more I see KOs the more I like 'em and I don't even ride mod . Looks fun to ride .
  24. Besides a coincidental " magic " gear ratio / chain length , an ENO eccentric hub allows this to be done . Looks neat too , although both solutions suffer from some initial chain stretch which requires some adjustment .
