Damned right , seems to meet your requirements . Inexpensive , great for streety trials , yet conventional geometry allows regular ( short range ) commuting . A built up example is shown in my sig , and with the saddle raised , it's kinda almost vaguely comfortableish .

Finished bike looks great , congratulations . The dropouts are probably generic catalogue parts and the holes intended for attaching a pannier rack , unless they are located on the inside of the tubes in which case they are to allow gasses to escape whilst welding .

An excellent vintage , should be very fun to ride . As for that disc mount surprising for a well established manufacturer to design something so poorly , even back then .
