  1. Yup works fine for my Firefox and I.E . ( Dutch I.S.P . )
  2. If someone posts really obnoxiously , it'd be BIU style . Bold , italic and underlined .

Possible , I saw him on a Dutch television show along the lines of " Wanna Bet ? " where he popped an inhuman hop over a bar . Afraid I don't recall exactly how high - informative post , huh ? EDIT : In this poorly timed photo i took of him exiting a section : ...he sidehopped up those pallets effortlessly , with minimal setup .

At a recent competition , Rick Koekoek ( sick Dutch mod rider ) was practicing preloading . It was pretty weird and drew curious glances from all the other riders who were doing more conventional warmups . Whilst trackstanding , he repeatedly compressed himself fully downwards , even leaning the bike over slightly . We were expecting a monster bunnyhop / sidehop of which he's certainly capable , but he was content to practice thus for minutes on end . Looked weird , but clearly pays off . Oh , and I'm still unfashionably bad at 'em .
  5. Sweet , ! Although why did this : ...need replacing ? Do you ever ride in Holland ( except during the recent competition ) ?
  6. Don't ride your bike untill this is fixed , or you risk damaging the threads in your frame's B.B shell , rendering the whole frame useless .

" Bitter times when the young perish and the old linger " My sincere condolences to his friends and family . :'(
  8. Oh cool , congratulations ! Got another of you : I was bitterly disappointed not to be able to ride that day , so tagged along with my camera instead .
  9. Was a good day with a surprising turnout including Rick Koekoek : ...and even he struggled with this section which requires the rider to launch from loose sand : ...it was good to see some professional looking bikes and tough sections : Steep ! Seems the trials scene over here is starting to get off the ground .
  10. I miss English girls . Sure the Dutch ladies are fun aswell , but hearing a pretty face speak that Godawful guttural language is horrifying .
  11. Is that Surly rear hub eccentric like ENO's , or did you fine tune chain tension with clever selection of sprocket sises / witchcraft ? Either way , good looking , though unorthodox bike .
  12. Just passin' through , or do you intend to stay over here for any period of time ?
  13. ...How many surrealist painters does it take to change a lightbulb ?
  14. Is that the elusive Mr.Deng proudly displaying what was at that time his flagship model ?
  15. It's pretty much like the English word , so kinda " Schwahlba " . Great tyres , incidentally : EDIT : Clearly spoken pronounciation
  16. I'm also struggling to learn the damned thing , so I'll be watching this thread with interest . Felix Mucke does 'em awfully smoothly in a lot of his ( excellent ) videos .
  17. Does Mr.Deng realise he could make a killin' by setting his frame jigs up for another batch of Echo Pure 2004 's ? Failing that , I guess Base's TA26 is the poor man's version - having almost identical geometry , but with a huge weight penalty .
  18. My Base is fairly compact and has a shortish stem , so a pretty upright , steep posture seems most comfortable . Now just hold on a min... I mean you can't go say... that's defamatory slander . We leave the culinary consumption of canines to the Orientals , I'll have you know . As for the rest - uh , yeah you're pretty much right except for omitting the fact that Europeans consistently prevail at competitions where people have to ride small , expensive bicycles over difficult terrain whilst being observed . Observed bicycle trials , one might say .
  19. Not a specific move , but among some of my Dutch riding buddies anything performed smoothly or effortlessly is the act of " Felixing . " ( Refference to Mr.Mucke . ) Love Tarty's Batman aswell !
  20. Ferocious ! Yours are in a publically visible place , no lasting damage I hope ?
  21. I pretty much win largest ( not trials related ) scar . As for smoothest - Rowan is increasingly spectacular , but Felix has set the bar pretty high .
  22. Good lookin' bike , but can you tell me what crank arms they are ?
  23. Some incredible photos , especially fond of this : really comitted landing to front and this one : . Also - a " Batman ? "
