  1. Glorious isn't it ? And not as uncommon as you may think . ( Janson's reply ...)
  2. Ridiculous ! Inventiveness and a great attitude , the consumate professional .
  3. No need , it never left my favourites folder since I originally downloaded it upon release ! Absolute must see for all riders .
  4. No bashring yikes ! Really neat riding , good to see a few of these frames still in use .
  5. Since gettin' and lovin' my Koxx Karbon for pure trials happy fun time , my Base TA26 ( formerly Tomturd's ) is now a street / general purpose / doss around bike . Whole lotta fun , except the wholly unsuitable front end - stem too long and no riser bar ( yet .)
  6. Well , I'm clearly WAY too stupid to figure out how to link to a picture I uploaded , but in this thread is a shot of my booster setup . Looks kinda daft and too high up , but radically influences brake hold .
  7. Effective airport security ? I used to work for NAVSEA. Basically, I blew things up for a living. Shortly after 9/11, I was flying from Dulles to Norfolk. Earlier that day, I'd been out on a test. Set off a 60-lb charge. The plume drifted down over my jacket and backpack, which were laying on the ground outside our bombproof trailer. Going through Dulles Airport , I was randomly selected to be swabbed for explosive residue. "Oh shit," I thinks to myself. As they're swabbing down my backpack, I'm trying to recall the number for security at our base. I'm picturing what I'm going to say to the security personnel when I get flagged as way, way f**king positive for nitrates. I'm getting out my cellphone as they put the swab in the sniffer box. Nothing. Not. A. Thing. I was *covered* in explosive residue and decomposition products, and they did not so much as look at me twice.
  8. So damned good ! Thanks for sharing .
  9. A good competition rider is pointless . Do I get banned now ?
  10. From a Dutch auction site I found this gem : Clearly unsuitable I suspect .
  11. What the Hell are y'all doing here at this ungodly hour ? I'm at work on my 7th consecutive nightshift lookin' forward to 4 days off ( and hopefully good riding weather . )
  12. I expect you fellas are gonna hate me 'cause I live in Holland but ( no longer ) smoke weed ! Decriminalisation seems to be very effective and lucrative for the Government . And for cryin' out loud : Stop visiting Amsterdam ! Weed is available throughout most Dutch cities and at a cheaper price , too . Amsterdam knows it attracts tourists , so overcharges for EVERYTHING , added to the fact that it's overcrowded , not at all representative of Dutch culture and a haven for pickpockets / pimps / hustlers / creepy motherf**kers . Select any other major city and be pleasantly surprised at a truly chilled out experience , all my U.K mates have learned to reject the 'Dam and hang out in my charming city ( Leiden . )
  13. 'cause it's STILL snowing in Holland . Damn it !
  14. Umm , I thought the unspoken agreement was that Senior members aren't supposed to actually ride trials let alone with your level of competence . Are you running a V brake at the back in the newer ( very cool ) video ?
  15. Yet another night shift - hotel's nearly empty and I'd completed my workload by 02:00 .
  16. Really handsome bike . No chain tugs / cams in an attempt to save weight ?
  17. Certainly saved the best 'till last ! If this is ever released upon D.V.D I'd snap it up .
  18. Impressive and with some smooth riding for a change , whereas his style usually looks VERY effective but not terribly pretty .
  19. Posting from my tenth ( ! ) consecutive night shift ! It's unhealthy but lucrative and I get to pretty much draw , read and browse as I choose all night . See y'all tomorrow night , too !
  20. The full video was posted on the recently deceased O.T.N a while back , beautiful footage ! Am I the only one that can't hear / read Jeff Lenosky's name without thinking " J - Lo " ? Topic belongs in Videos section .
  21. You didn't state what kind of handlebars you're currently running , but fitting a good pair of risers will not only raise your front end , but also allows fine tuning a little by rotating 'em .
  22. A timely topic , maintenance seems to be surprisingly overlooked . We spend vast amounts of money on componentry , then often neglect it despite some simple maintenance being free , quick and prolonging longevity of parts . There are some helpful guides on Park Tool's website .
