the idea behind the high roller being used backwards is that the "knobs" become TRACTION enhancing "in theory" as when you look at the sharp knobs it should drive better through mud and such forth, wont make the biggest difference in the world but alot of people do it PS never used Minions on backwards so could not comment. Alex Dark dont worry its not a competition, its all about coming, having a good laugh and most of all enjoying been able to ride! Ben has been struck down from been able to ride a bike one day to been in a wheelchair the next. LIFE IS SO UNFAIR! i would prepare to put myself in Ben's shoes, as im 24, iv been there done that and got the tee shirt, Ben HAS a career ahead of him. Keep your eyes peeled for dates and deffinate venue TBC. Also, i invited a couple of top european riders yesterday, iv had responses but its going to take further negotiation, also looking into some more top euro talent. i want it to be a free for all and get some of the top riders there so people in the UK can meet riders from around the globe who they only get to see in video's and pictures. NEWS! after a meeting at tykes last night we have an idea on location, this location does have possible camping and also a travel lodge next door if anyone went to the 2005 worlds at addingham, it was the camping ground there, Skipton Auction mart. its not confirmed but im just letting people aware of whats possibly going on etc. Its absolutly mahooooooooooooooooooooosive and would be indoor, were looking at sourcing the obstacles from Sheffield indoor and possibly part of a motorbike stunt show demo rig. keep your eyes and ears peeled on this topic. or start arranging your teams and travel???? we could possibly arrange it so that the saturday we have a big ride at shipley glen? then the sunday we have the team trial fun type fund raising event???? the problem at the moment with onza is, you'd have to upgrade to a t-comp as alot of dealers have run out of T-Pro, aire valley had 10 or 15, before xmas and there all sold out (goes to show the product sells well) i think the spec on the cranks and freewheel are the main thing. The frame as has been before it is pretty much the old levelboss which has been a bench mark frame in the onza line and has been and still IS the most popular trials bike choice. Upgrade to a t-comp and benefit from the magura's, drilled rims etc. OR push the boat out and get an extremly silly specced t-pro at £750 and it BLOWS other bikes away. Wayne.

steve your talking about yorkshire (if we had it near addingham OR somewhere i could find indoor) there will be loads of grass, might not be flat like. but there will be plenty. Team trial with mates is better, as i said before its more of a "everyone" get together, not, everyone get together and teams are way too serious to win. might even consider throwing in some forfeits, for example a team with 1 oe 2 over 16 or 18 them riders will have to drink 2 pints of beer before competition Wayne.

what van you got ali??? a transporter? or a vito??? i think im going to look into getting a nice big van (for trips through out europe) may even consider going to koxx days. il have to see how the £££ is going. i think id go just for the photo's and riding Buthiers, not really interested in the comp. but id probably take Jack Carthy with me. the accomodation will be one thing that we consider to be a main objective. to make sure that it is accessible for people to get to and from etc. local transport. Wayne

ye hopefully MORE than a months notice will be given for organisation of work, venue, travel, accomodation etc. making sure it doesnt clash with other events etc. just as an example of venue? Addingham moorside? if there was camping would people camp? or possibly stay in Skipton? Keighley? Silsden? in B&B's. there pretty cheap around here. and it gets everyone to a place that has brought up some of the BEST UK Trials stars, motorbikes and trials bikes alike. Dougie Lampkin, Chris Akrigg etc and is one of the BEST well known venues in the UK. it has something for everyone. The only other thing we was trying to do was find an "indoor venue" so that Ben could actually come and watch the event and see what WE ALL have done to support and help him Wayne.

iv been doing that over the last couple of weeks on my crutches. (obv with not been able to ride ) stand still, crutches say a metre apart and in line, then use my arms to keep me propped up. real hard. good for my upper body strength while not been able to ride. Wayne.

i used to tension my hubs alot and it pulled a couple of front hubs apart. i was then advised not to build them so tight. if you think about it. it honestly cant really be much else. how else would the hub pull apart??? and it is a hole that snaps to cause the crack??? its not happening to them all though, if it was a "fault" every single one would break, or a majority would. the main thing from a riders point of view is, not to complain but to appreciate that your product is replaced FOC. we will try and arrange it so transport and accomodation is really close. it would be much better this way so that hopefully trials riders will club together and give each other lifts etc. then get as many people there as possible????? im sure a few scottish people wouldnt mind an irish man in with them, as long as the englishman, irishman and scottishman jokes are pretty funny Wayne.

LMFAO!!!! at the "i hear" shiz. turned into a well funny topic half way down page 1!!! iv not broken a hope rear trials hub shell???? and i dont know why cos i used to break loads of stuff. i think its spoke tension issues. kings are ok, it all depends how deep your wallets are though. you break king hubshells same as hope ones break, i think i did a couple of king shells, back in the days of 2005 and previous. since been sponsored by hope iv never felt the reason to change from a simple system, i do see where alan felton is coming from, the ring drive system is good, but personally its expensive.
