the best post ever by El Muelio dont worry yourself about just one move! trials is about progression and enjoying riding, dont be stuck at one wall all night trying to jump up it sideways, do different things. i dont understand why people have this "vivid" image that trials is all about sidehopping, its just like a pogo fest! the quicker the sport gets over people sidehopping 56 inches to two wheels the better, yes i give it one thing "its impressive" but god damn it you never come across a straight edged wall and get told to "sidehop that or your life ends" if you really are getting pi$$ed off with riding the trials bike just because you cant sidehop, id seriously consider taking up bowls or something. (not the 10 pin type though! thats way too fun) Wayne. yes as from that photo they "used" to do it...... it does sort of colour clash with the Zoo stuff........ BUT on most trials bikes,MTB's etc if you see green on the lever, your going to sort of get the idea it will be hope. thats the plan anyway. OH and the Pro II rear hub click is usually quite loud.........i know alot of XC boys get Pi$$ed off wi the noise, come on, its best to hear quality! a bit like people liking the "buzz" of a chris king. get a trial one, it sort of gives it away in the title its designed for a purpose. it has all the power needed. with the mini and M4 i just find it doesnt give you as much confidence or power that the mono trial offers. Dont be shy and just get a hope trial caliper Mono M4 is made up of 2x 5/6mm pistons and 2x 8/10mm pistons i think. the pistons are 2 different sizes, you can tell this from the "bore" caps as one is usually smaller than the other. something like that anyway. Were using AMCA insurance as we do for tykes. a date has been provisionally set Easter Weekend which is March 23rd. the good thing about this weekend is it been a bank holiday either side of it, people will be able to travel up on good friday and also return on bank holiday monday. Were just finalising a few other things, were looking at trying to use the indoor sections from sheffield and also more man made obstacles and objects. Hope as many of you can make it as possible. Venue is deffinatly looking like it will be Skipton Auction mart. Check the link of multimap, you can see the canal go under the A629 and the A629 then meets a roundabout with the A65 coming off it. its the right turn and the 2nd right, it doesnt have a street name on the map. but that road follows into the auction mart. we have got camping facilities and also, on that roundabout there is a travellodge or travel inn 1 of the 2. so plenty of accomodation to suit all. they are supposed to be doing a pro3 with disc mounts (like i said before, just a pro2 BUT with Stainless steel bearings) as i have been informed. as you correctly pointed out the MAIN reason the Pro3 hubs were released were for road purposes, direct pull spokes etc, but they do do standard flanged hubs. Ok, alot of people will camp etc. im taking young jack carthy and his dad, just wondering if anyone has stayed in a hotel? or motel type thing local to malesherbes? or buthiers? if so any advice or web address's would be much appreciated. its going to be easier for Jack and Mick to stay in a hotel/motel as its there first time and with jack been only 11 its not the most ideal circumstances staying up late, getting pissed etc. (im sure he'd fit in quite well getting upto mischief like!!!!) but accomodation is the key. anyone who can help can have some beer for free!!! yes the clothes are available yes scott i got small shorts and medium tops hey if you've got unlimited amount of money il go to hope myself and make you a pair Wayne. Green will be one of those colours that sticks out but as someone said it will only look "correct" or "right" on the right coloured bike.

yo geez, everything is discontinued over here, the only ranges that are current and staying are pro2 (including Trials) and also Pro3 (which are similar to pro2 but with stainless bearings in) I think hope have done the right thing as the XC hub was a bench mark hub but the new pro2 stuff is way better and the price difference is not a very lot. Wayne.

The other way is to wait till the end of the season and see if you can get one off a team rider???? as they are allowed to be sold after the year (i think) most of the time my old stuff gets used at work for spares or repairs, or it gets sold on with my old bikes. you could buy your own anodising tank? hehe then charge others to do theirs. ye, you should see the birds mum Wayne.

haha!!! the GF and her mum n partner have just moved into the new house. iv already threatented to throw blue paint at it. i cant stand the sight of it, 1950's porn star wallpaper!!! not good. the bird looked pretty nice in some of the other kit i got, she even enjoyed wearing it with not alot else on. would post up but wouldnt like to cross the "porn" posting thing. you can see owt apart from her body, but the hope team jerseys, pants and sleeveless jersey too REALLY stand out Wayne.

Just been to hope this morning to collect my 2008 sponsorship kit. picked up a few brakes, hubs, grip doctors and such forth. pics are below. Nice "PIMP" Green. NOTE this colour is NOT available to the general public. it has been produced to stnad out on riders bikes to encourage and hopefully increase sales on Hope products. Let the comments begin. i really like it, looks TRICK as. i think as hope want it to do, as soon as someone see's the "anodised green" in a photo they will automatically know its hope kit Top job. its usually last weekend of march first week of april. im trying to book a 6 or 7 seater minibus or like a VW touran etc. Ross il try get this confirmed as soon as i can, might need to speak to Carthy and his parents, as alot of minibuses are 25 and over for insurance, DAMN i just miss it by 4 months.
