    The Worlds.

Gavyn, i WAS a seeded master rider, therefore did not take up any other spaces of other people. My riding ability from 2006 abled me to be seeded into the best class there is, which there are a few british riders in, up until a year or so ago, the master class had only consisted of maybe 5 or 6 riders, as getting seeded into master was a difficult task but with trials in the uk so popular and riders so good we saw 3 riders go up in 2006 Please dont say i dont care, you really DONT have the slightest..... i am not happy with what has gone on but at the end of the day the 3 or 4 members of the committee that dont like me have got what they have wanted. therefore we shall await to see their next target???? Wayne. im still the same old me, apart from next year il be attending the worlds as a minder for younger riders and also will be doing alot more training orientated sessions through tyke trial and such forth.

Bring on 2008 Wayne. Got loads more shots, but unfortunatly will be using most of them for MBUK.

  7. Hopefully all those work.(they do now ) the bottom pic here is deffinatly one of my faves, two of the biggest LEGENDS in trials it wouldnt be where it is today without Ot, and Cesar it goes without saying "the best rider in the world" the incredible hulk made a guest appearance, if anyone can photoshop it green and re-upload it, much appreciated. Ian will kill me, but it was a good picture. Wayne.

Cesar was quite good (sarcy) quite awsum really, to do a lap of 1 was very VERY impressive. as for the shirt/kit, i was NOT notified of ANY kit before i left? therefore i went on the signs that there was no UK team kit. how ever i have since checked on here and 1 day after i left there is a post about team kit being supplied. (personally this is lack of organisation) its done now and im not bothered, the select few who wanted me banned have obviously got what they wanted. i on the other hand couldnt care 3 pence less. as people have been saying lets keep up the good news, and the good spirit. hopefully Japan will be peaceful and more of a team effort no arguing and falling out. iv got confidence. Wayne.
  9. ye iv got loads too. 300 or summit gotta sort through them Nice pics Wayne.

i refused to wear the tee shirt. that had printed on it www.ukbiketrial.co.uk i have since been told that someone else did this a number of years ago and nothing happened (as it was not a "major" issue) Martin Hawyes what has happened has happened, dont worry about it, i dont. the hand gesture to Barry was for a fellow english rider doing it to ben while he collected his 2nd place trophy and prize money. (a team thing i thought it was???? obviously not, if a fellow team mate is calling a team mate wa**er) i also stated to Barry that Ben was the ONLY uk rider to podium. Trials is not dead, for the "good" of the sport, the people putting the hard work in off the UK bike trial committee and the bike trial uk committee good things shall come, as soon as a select few have been taken out of the committee. BTW there os only 3 or 4 of the UK bike trial committee who is posing this problem. Barry had the power to BAN me, does he have the balls and the power to do so to a rider who he was minding for who did something alot worse than what i did????? 1 rule for one and 1 for another does not work well. Hope everyone enjoys Japan, i will hopefully see you out there, i will be taking pictures for MBUK. Wayne. PS the only swear word i said to Barry was "arseholes" (and i dont think that this is swearing personally) everything else i said to him i could write down here and you could see if i was been totally out of order. i disagreed to wear something. (this was said before the ceremony on sat eve) i am positive that at some point bike trials in the UK will be back in a straight line and will be doing well shortly. i hope, even if i am not allowed to be part of it. i just dont want these 3 or 4 people spoiling it for the rest of the riders in the UK this is why i stood up for my opinions. i am not here to start an arguement i am here to state facts of what happened, as i was not riding i took alot of interest in taking pictures and watching others.

Not as petty as getting banned for not wearing the tee shirt just because i disagreed with wearing one, and was NOT told that there was a team kit. Also no one congratulated Ben on his 2nd. NOT even barry deeks, he was THE only english rider to podium. Well done to the young lads on saturday, sunday well done to most, i cant congratulate WA**ERS, and it was an unfortunate site to see fellow ENGLISH riders giving ben the wankers sign. Girlfriends come in handy for alot of things Wayne. I would just like to confirm that UK bike trial will please write me a letter of confirmation of my punnishment and the letter from the meeting at rugby if possible please. Got plenty of pictures to upload when im home, just waiting in the airport for the plane. what a good laugh this week has been though...... EDIT tee shirt was put on backwards (dont forget, you cant take something off and put it on the correct way, it is bad luck )
  12. Something short as everyone else is saying. depends what you like and what sort of "style" you ride, if you want a PURE street steed or a PURE natural steed, your looking at totally different bikes, i find the bike i ride a good combination of the 2 a Koxx Caisso 1065, long back end at 390mm and 70.5 head angle. but thats my personal choice. Really gone off long bikes, other bikes iv had a go on that feel nice are Porters old "Short" Echo control i think it was and a Yaabaa Bow, even though the Bow was 1075 ish wheelbase with the +30 b/b it made it feel and ride quite short. Ask Sutty22 on here about switching from a long to a short bike, i think hes having loads of fun on a Caisso that i sold him, good compromise of street flickability and natural control. be carful with b/b rise, anything above 35/40 makes you feel like your on a spaceship, unless you compensate with plenty of stem stackers under the stem. Wayne. Options: Echo control short (and the option of 116 back end too) no gears/hangers to break Koxx Caisso Kot MS2 short? that looks nice, rear disc too. Adamant A1 short (116 back end)
  13. ^^ ^^ ^^ as he says, if you cant really afford to push £80/90 for a Xen go for the "sister" helmet which is the Hex, Cool/Sleek looks £50 ish or summit. worth every penny. Uses "Roc-Loc3" to hold it to your head which is same as Animas (which RRP's @£70) and similar to Xen and E2, comfortable as you like, it doesnt feel like you have got it on your head G!R0 4TW Wayne.
  14. hey adam, should be up there a week wednesday (on an eve) if your up for it. il probs be up there the thursday night too. i get back from Czech next wed, if you can make it up il see you there, should be a good laugh, il try get Peacock and Ravens out and a few locals too. its funny, the weather up here has been real nice last week or so.... a bit strange to the "flash flooding" we were having early part of last week. Wayne.
  15. Top dollar, i dont think you need to see the rest of the picture, look at his body position etc, the body position and movement itself tells a story of how big/small the object is. you can break them down into static moves and rolly/jump/gap moves etc from the body language of the rider. its pictures like that, that just inspire me to want to ride more and more, like every hour of every day. its deffinatly an "Art" as your pictures show Sergio. Wayne.
  16. il get you the e-mail addys out of my msn hotmail contacts now. il edit this when iv found them. Wayne. dannyboy@biketrials.com = Danny Martin trialsbiker1@hotmail.com = Alex Markwart (i think) If you e-mail Danny Martin he will sort you out other contacts hes sound as a pound. really cool guy, i stayed with him 3 years ago and he was a right laugh, my sis and Akrigg also stayed with him.
  17. i think martyn tried to get across the "help anyone for nothing" kind of response, OK i do know alot of people may feel that its the annoying "chav" riders that are spoiling it by damaging things, but dont forget one thing!!!! "you were once like this yourself" OK not a chav BUT this has come with evolution, the world is always changing and evolving, better things await those who do their best and try their hardest. I was out last night and i feel that i would sacrifice my "masters" status at the worlds JUST to become a "trials trainer" to help others in the sport who are good BUT just need that extra push or that extra bit of knowledge of "how to do something" express the way to do it, body movement etc. i feel like this through what i have gone through the last 4/5 months against UK Bike trial. i would still be getting what i want out of it, id still ride myself but wouldnt have the in convenience of having to worry about someone being picky and pokey at what i say or do, or try punnish me for my opinion etc. (martyns column again is PURELY his opinion on the matter ) Wayne.
  18. for the people that say "well what sort of a sport gives you an adrenaline rush" if any of you get chance to go to fort william and take a decent DH bike and £20.00 for a days uplift, id really advise you do it, i did the thursday before the fort william cup and i can honestly say it was the best thing iv done all year. hitting things with such speed, or turning SOOOO quickly into 90 degree bends and stuff. its mind blowing, i dont seem to get an adrenalin rush like that out of trials but i feel the technical stuff in trials is good and balance etc makes trials very interesting. Wayne. You ask most "MTB" riders, if they can bunnyhop and most say "wow id love to be able to do that" to us trials riders that can be easy, or stopping balancing eyeing saomething up then conquering, MTB'ers would love to be able to do things like that (if they cant already do it)
  19. "streetjibs" is Danny Martin, im sure he will be on here at some point, not 100% if he checks in chit chat. PM him if you require info ALSO there was Alex Markwart and co that used to use it. there is another dude from Sydney called Peace, if you need contacts or e-mail addy's let me know, il dig them out, got them all from when i was over there 3 years ago. Wayne.
  20. no its not gone pete tong yet. trials bike sales are still steady away through the shop. and if im totally honest, the price of sales have gone up alot if anything, people are spending £800/1300 without even questioning. Like sutty has said, 6/7 years ago as i was just starting, it was at its early stages where "trials" specific stuff was hard to get, over the years people/companies have taken the plunge into "trials specific" parts, if anything people/kids nower days are luckier than ever. Did he say a dying sport "competition wise"? as he cant have really meant it from a "people having/riding trials" and even so competitions up here have never been as popular. turning 100 or so entries per event. Wayne.

    New Echo Products

ingenious design with the 26" rear hub and tensioner. thats very kool. Not sure about the Pure frame been 1075/1095??? altho long is getting more popular. would be nice to see a few more 1060 bikes altho there aint many trials riders as small as me Wayne.
  22. Sounds like a plan Brett, see you there buddy. You take it easy that week, it sounds like your going to be busy Wayne.
  23. iv got a nice answer phone message off you pat!!!! your phone must have "accidently" rang me..............can you whistle? cos you cant sing iv had a gander at a few things and the main names that jump out at me are the collegues from last years expert category. Cant wait to get away, a week away from work and a good relaxed and chilling week. Wayne.
  24. Expert has been a popular category over the last few years, and this year i would have liked to have seen the likes of Porter etc, to strengthen the back bone of the UK team. But i feel in yourself and Pat Donovan and Nicky G we should have it covered, if your riding anything like you were riding at Brimham rocks then you should be a World EXPERT champion scott (or possibly) i think it could go to the wire between you and Nicky G. i would really love to see a 1,2,3 for england, but i think 2 spots in expert would be covered by UK riders, if not, il be dissapointed SCOTT!!! Wayne.
