you physically would not want to market a 24" kids frame with carbon down and top tubes as anything else other than a "kids" bike. maybe i oculd fit on one, but it would be purely XC nothing else, its going to be extremly light and you wouldnt want to be throwing it around, i wouldnt want to be one for breaking one. all the stuff looks nice and pimp, i feel a bit of a trip to hope to ask for a special colour way going.......... Wayne.

you are based in aberdeen???? or is the place incorrect? if so id give it a bit longer as the postal strikes etc etc. it does usually take a little bit longer to delivery up there. Wayne.
-
Jonny have you tried the other link as opposed to the youtube one? that one is much better and the lighting is better on most of the Shipley glen stuff. Wayne.

lol i think the natural style i have in street would possibly work, with not so much "massive" street moves but flowy, tech moves. we'll see how the street vid comes out. Need a good street song now though, dont really wanna use owt too "hardcore" if you understand what i mean but any advice would be appreciated. Wayne.

Honestly buddy, if youve never used a Rohloff before, after you have used one you wont go back to anything else!!!! There great. Wayne.
-
id really consider a Rohloff tensioner, there probably the best "derailer" type tensioner on the market. Buy one and you will never have to buy one again. there bombproof and pimp. Wayne.

the blue and white ones are the "models" to be looking at. i spoke with Yoshi minder in Japan (who is R&D guy at giant and what he says and does sort of goes ahead, and its the blue/white ones that are in production) it is worth knowing that it is VERY unlikely that those bikes will end up on England ground unless someone can persuede giant UK to import them. again this was from a conversation with Yoshi's Minder. No country was willing to order quantities to sell in their country, they wished to see them 1st and then possibly consider buying some. most countries did not Wayne.

post mount as in on the disc? if so IS (international standard) is being phased out and the NEw IS is going to be post mount. make it simple and easy to adjust brakes etc etc, setup time is quicker, less fiddly and much more user friendly. OBV for "current" IS on front forks there is a mount. BUT it uses post fitting on the top again for quick and easy installation. Hope, Magura and Avid (the latter 2 have been like this for years!!!!) it makes producing brakes alot easier. im not sure if the "Mono Trial" will do the same, but i would have hoped it would. Wayne.

Cheers for the comments. keep them coming. iv been watching a couple of old videos of my riding and my newer stuff like in this vid and my style has changed totally. (i can see where iv taken advise off people to do something different, and i have and its made a positive difference) Wayne.

Ilkley oor is the place. 20" matt would be something i did as alot of people always comment that i look "better" fit wise on one, but i enjoy my riding on a 26", 20" would be something to do to try prove to myself and others that you can actually ride a 20" bike like a 26" all iv got to do is try prove it Wayne.

ye, its not my cam but i do have to agree the lens does spoil it. il prob go back do some of the same lines (they should look more in proportion) and might be a bit nicer. People these days over use fish eye lens, this one is no different. might film with my camera next time, wide angle is sometimes better than fish eye but as the 2/3 posts up have said a full fish eye just makes you look like im riding in a fish bowl Wayne. I know for sure that the gap at 13-15 is huge! and also the front wheel gap at 32-35 is something that i did first time BUT it usually takes me a good couple of goes.
-
its Danny Cartledge who has put it together and filmed it. il have a word with him, he maybe able to send it to someone over msn if they could upload it elsewhere? Also for the first post, fair play, your a street rider and you appreciate street vids more. i was a street rider a fair few years ago, and now i just feel its crap, same shit different day. natural is totally refreshing and really opens your mind to "what you can do" at something. rain, shine, snow or blizzard natural is always very challenging. Street is just the same old, tap this, gap that and sidehop that big wall. only IMO. Wayne. PS we have got some street footage i think so there will be a street vid BUT it wont be half as chilled and relaxing as the natural 1's that we make.

errr Trial noir style thing will be a "keep your eyes open for it" and there will be more you tube vids first. gotta keep injury free for a bit and get myself back up to "i dont care mode!!!" Wayne.
-
Let me know what you think, im going to do more filming and get danny to film less with a fish eye lens. its just a bit too much (i know) it looks like im constantly in a fish bowl and you really dont see the size of some of the rocks specially up at shiply. Wayne.
-
yes, put a left or right hand crank on, then use pliers or (preferably) mole grips to grip the one your planning on taking off (do the driveside, therefore you only have to take one off then ) wiggle it, just a little bit and it will come off. then the left hand cup will come off easy peasy. Wayne.

Maybe...............maybe not If i tell people where this place is, i would really like people to apprecaite it and not go Effing and blinding up there and literally spoiling it for others that use it, its one of the nicest places local to go riding that people wont stop "trials" riders riding there if we respect other people walking and using the place. next post il tell you where it is Wayne. Am using the frame im on at the moment as it is going to be similar length to what the Kamel is going to be. i might even use a 20" bike next year too.
-
its a new Monty 231 Kamel (without the hump though ) its a place local to me, hopefully there will be a trial there next year. at the moment they are having problems with DH'ers ripping the public footpath up but they know that it is not the trials riders. Wayne.
-
there should hopefully be another "armourdillo" type product out very soon. Wayne.
-
Not as old as you! There could possibly be a trial at this place next year Wayne.
-
Thanks to Danny Cartledge for coming up, having a laugh and taking some nice shots, i havent edited any of these ones but i do have some that are edited that will be going on a website at some point. Hope people like them. iv got loadsssssssssss more, but it would take me a week to upload them. Any comments welcome. Wayne.

Shipley Glen Biketrial Federation's Final Round
Waynio replied to BikeTrial Federation's topic in Trials Chat
Just seen that news on TB website ali poor news buddy. Hope you get well soon. Wayne. When will entries be available? with the post strike etc? just were wanting to check? cheers -
why not change it into a demo? if you are struggling to host teams? pay each rider an individual amount of money and have a laugh and a good time that way? as opposed to it being a competition where everybody argues and falls out? (as there is money involved?) Wayne. Just a suggestion......?
