:o from what i can gather,or im assuming im trying to workout my "torque" thing. i dont understand how you calculate the chain tension?or also how it is measured? newton metres of kg/ft? if a kmc kool chain breaks at 1300kg of torque? does that mean (well it must) we wont have any where near that as that chain is literally indestructable. Poo i need a bigger ring to get more torque?or is that to actually break the hub? in other words (am i right?) people are saying more Torque is what is needed to perform bigger moves? personally i think its technique......... BUT its quite kool i need to work that formula out cos you would have thort the smaller the ring (harder gear more torque would have gone through!) BUT i can see why it is the bigger the ring as more force will go through it faster........ bling bling. Waynio........................... ps i think lee is working it out on a hope "trials" hub or a normal hope hub. thats why it may work out diffo to tarts.i dunno though

kooo at least i sort of know the formula what is it for a profile with a 19t cog at back and a 22t at front? (Y) would be wikid to know. Waynio....................

iv got 90BHP i dont know thwe figure in Newton metres. but thats what my cars got. Its not as if you can get on a rolling road on a bike. but surely if you KMC kool chain aint snapping it is less than 1300kg or what ever the amount is. so why dont people post the ACTUAL way to work the jobba out? you say you have got figures?how did you get em? hub diameter (where pawls are) x 21t (sproket size) / (divide) how many links are int chain? :P just a guestimate would be handy to know,seen as how i want to go up to the average joe and go "oreyt mate,you know that i just did,1100newton metres of energy and a good 50break horse power" it may seem a good question no doubt, but the easiest solution is a "Calculator" which = someone giving someone a formual on how to work it out. = no arguements and people can work their own out :o (Y) Waynio........................

AGREE and about danny butler,he shouldnt give a fellow member SH*T at a trials competition especially when the rider is from a foreign country!!!!!that sucks ass if you ask me!and for anyone who doesnt know he was giving TRA loads a welly but its cos TRA was/probably did beat him!so when he starts getting beat he starts crying!he sucks candy ass. i do alot more natural nower days than back a year or 2 ago when i did loads a street with adam wilson and everyone making video's for the net.its just not worth it. as boon says its bout what you do and want to do. plain and simle: Tunni and CLS do Awesum vids for internet (this is why it isnt worth me n wilson doing cos we just are amazed by their vids!) Tunni and craig LS.god most of you lads are eitha blind or go out riding with your heads up your own ring pieces!cos them two lads alone would put most other world riders to shame how they ride!!!!!they have "NO FEAR!" and i can clearly say they both push the limits to the extreme.its not about bumming its bout people going out riding and pushing the limits them two young riders DO that not talk about it all the time.............. loads of other riders out there push the limits too but this was just my opinion raised due to these 2 names being mentioned.
