BUT what happens when you get a monkey taking the bolt out and wacking it back in cross threaded? and then they bring it back and say, i didnt do owt i was just riding along and all me threads stripped!!!!! as people are always curious in what things do they will be playing with them like theres no tomorrow!!!! Waynio..................... does look great and the tensioning deisgn is kool if used correctly.

Tom you may need to run a 19 or even a 20 tooth cog on the bck to get it nearer. it is amazing how much crank length makes a difference when riding trials. it did me when i was using 175 middleburns then swopped em for a pair of 170!i had to sell em straight away cos i cudnt get used to the pedalling circle being smaller and the gear being that little bit harder. its amazing what the little differences make. Why worry bout it? its the same as the follwing: Dawes and ridgeback have a bike with the EXACT same name! yet ther is no court case or owt. BUT back in 2002 when the Kona DAWG 1st came it was called the BEAR (if i remember correctly) out Marin complained that the name was too similar to the "BEAR Valley" Kona then was going to change it the same year and put "BEER" on the top tube BUT couldnt and didnt so they then re-named it the "Dawg" if there was conflict, ie a BIG brand doing the saem parts there would be something said BUT as KYMSO n Koxx for example do DIFFERENT style of bikes (im guessing motorbikes and push bikes) there is no problem? in fact its good that there both using a similar logo as its advertisment for each other in a way! Waynio............................ No biggy though...............

tensiles with a UCI bash set up should work with a like 122 b/b you may even get away with a shorter b/b, iv used a 113 on all my bikes iv had tensiles on and they have fit extremly perfect. if you want i can send you a r/h crank a b/b and you can by all means try and see how they fit? then you can order yourself a set of tensiles? other wise the part that Mr koxx has got will do for a set of 3 piece cranks you have. so swopping or buying that part would deffintaly work for you. it may even work with a bit of adapting to a set of FSA afterburners. Waynio.......................... PM me if you want to try the tensiles.

iv heard from chris that something IS happening and personally from what iv heard mart's footage i think (from what iv gathered) is going to be in and amonst chris's stuff. everyone is so busy doing other things. but i know quite a bit of chris's has been edited up already i saw some of the footage last year from a couple of the MBUK roadtrips and the footage is seriously S!CK! you need for tykes: ACU affiliation Tyke trial membership as a post above, i dont need to "Team Up" with ben? i was wondering "How UCI worked?" as iv never had the experience in doing a UCI comp or understand it fully like a BIU comp. i sat down after what ben had said and thought about it, i 1st thought that people would just ride at something and TRY clean it as much as possible. but in theory i would look at what ben said "use tactical dabs so tyou dont use more dabs than you need"????? in which if id have said to ben i disagree you should just go full force at something? i think personally thats wrong. Waynio...................... obviosly you have your opinion, i just want you to know that i agreed after i had read and understood the UCI rules  :P to me im a novice at UCI until i got that explained above. Also if anyone needs any of the above forms the can get them from Tyke Trial or e-mail waynio1@hotmail.com / sales@airevalleycycles.com or PM me.

disc on rear of a stock bike = death.............. disc on rear of mod = is ok. with it having a smaller wheel it will work better. 1 of 2 things. why change a brake that works?(magura) keep it on and you'll keep your life! ali c met us up at blackstrone edge on sunday and the 1st thing he did he was on his arse.....................and he will be 1st to second that, even though it holds on some things it doesnt when you need the brake to be reliable. Waynio.......................... when megamos used to come with them they had like 200mm rear rotors cos that would be the only size that would work...........half decent

ye it is a big gap............. well done young man! specially with a Sh1Tmano Freewheel on too......... who needs 72 pick up points................iv only got 24 or sumit  hope all the way. The mono will always be a trials hub to me. Waynio.....................

lmao........... the title of the topic is sort of an exagerated expression of chris's riding........... it needs to be a bit more *hard core* he doesnt care at what he rides for or at its just when he sees something or wants to do something he will not let it lie!he will always nail it. the bike show for example he just doesnt die off! he hurt himself on the friday trying that rail trick, then nails it on the sunday pretty much perfect? His ability is un describable and i think that people dont notice chris's ability as much as they should................... (Y) if chris was the type of guy who liked 30 odd people pile up street rides he would be the one in the corner popping out the tricky tricks and the tricks that most people wouldnt even deem do able......... Waynio....................... we need a dictionary or a thesaurus that has a better word for mental? im sure someone can find a better word.................

yes which makes it cheaper to just take the thought out of your head unless you have money to burn. it aint worth doing, the ebst colour of a bike is silver and always will be, it doesnt show marks as easy (scrathes and scuffs) best thing to do would be sand your frame down and polish it up and laquer it. Waynio........................ or even get a tin of spray paint your fav colour n spray it to be more individual. be crazy and do what you personally want to do.

il second that Mr Buck........... its about wanting to ride........and putting the effort in make trials your ecstacy! instead of gals n cars, you can do all 3 but put them in place........... Bike! - Van - Girl.................. even better Bike - Girl - Van (or ride a XC bike(Y)) you just need to wait til you have passed your test cos you live literally on mount everest..........its a fair way to get to any where.i never look at my bike and think shit cant be arsed thats it i quit i always look and think what can i get upto today. Be positive and you will feel positive about trials and riding.......... Waynio........................

why doesnt he just do a 8ft drop gap to downtube? instead of trying to beat the sh!t outta the downtube? it seems pointless in doing things as silly as that when you can just go out and ride it in an abusive way if you would like to put it through its paces?you dont need to abuse the frame in a non riding way to see how strong it is? it aint clever cos you aint got the full force of your riding ability on it, if you crash out and twist the back end its the way that you land and fall on the frame sometimes unlucky sometimes due to lack of quality material. if you really wanna see how strong something is send it to germany so they can dyno test it like Marin do with their FS bikes and HT frames :( :) but whats the point when you can just ride them normally and see if it breaks? Waynio............... just my opinion, i showed someone "cultiv8ted chris" when we was in bristol how cheesy a coust was but it doesnt prove 100% how strong it is? altho they were reknown for breaking, but this was due to the frame being so thin and when it dints its at more of a pressure point. i havent ever seen a bike "just fall into 2 pieces" a MTB when cracked is due to the Fatigue of the material where it has just been over used not ABUSED just used and the material gets weaker and weaker, a bit like a car engine after its done 100k its a bit different to it when it has done 20k? its just that trials is sooooooooooo abusive on aluminium from the start its more the fact of just riding it and seeing what happens. the Vid made on tartybikes of the dude on the KOT is absolutly amazing..........some amazing moves going down, but why try break the bike? just ride it and enjoy it. if something breaks replace it........easy as 1,2,3 :) its the riders with this "i can abuse the system" type rider which has the bad output on trials. (i will be 1st to admit that when i broke my t-raptor and did what i did to it was due to severe pi$$ed offness nothing to do with "TRYING to break it" as it had already been broke 2-3times)

yunless you could possibly change the axle to a shorter axle?and 2 smaller spacers? IE someone if they were an engineer could sort the axle problem out by machining it down and doing the spacers too?to save you from buying a new hub (if someone was kind enough to do it for free :S ) Waynio.................. PS mark heat your crank up? use a blow torch and get it glowing :S :) we do it at work sometimes. works a treat especially for getting it off the axle of the b/b :D

i was going to say, see steve @ heatsink about spare seals. just poke a spoke through the bleed hole and it will pop the seal and plunger unit out. Waynio........................

i totally agree ben, tha part about dabbing is safer, so i always thought it would be the other way around i didnt quite understand UCI fully until that post but i always thought people were always more risky in UCI to getting cleans instead of using what we can call a very "Tactical Dab" as it saves you points in UCI? instead of loosing them. now i understand.
