a few more entries have come in, so its all good. ye i agree with onzabob (Rob) it is a competition but i dont see where people are getting the Expert/Elite are being extra competative. when i go into sections i just go to ride at stuff and have a go, its all about trying not to put your feet down or fall off. if you want to see competative i think you should all start watching boxing then you'll find out that trials is way too laid back. thats the problem with this country at the mo, the overseas countries accept trials sooooooooooo much better and thats why the competitions are so much more meaningful. its like rob says if you speak to someone that someone is going to speak back to you (in a friendly way if you have spoken to them in a friendly way) We all need to get on with it and have a good time. dont worry about dabbing or getting good/bad scores personally my advice is "Enjoy yourself" i was setting out at back qown today and we met 2 yong lads who wanted to start entering they had a word with babara and want to sign up to riding. they would have ridden tomorrow if they could, i just wish everyone on here was as interested as those young lads. (most people are dont get me wrong) but the people with the "atmosphere is bad" kinda attitude, your going to a comp feeling that then your never going to be happy. i remember at addingham moorside a young lad was on his 2/3 section and was in tears as he wasnt finding it that easy, there was a couple of local lads in the same class, i took the young lad round with me who was upset and we caught these 2 local lads up, we all got chatting and then when the young lad noticed that it wasnt JUST him that wasnt doing extremly good he got his head up and wanted to beat the 2 local lads. i dont know if he did or not. but he wasnt enoying it one minute then 10/15 later he was right as rain, he just needed cheering up and walking round with for a bit. he was sound as a pound too! he was a young lad with a jordie accent. his dad observed secion 10! so now people cant say that the expert and elite is competative. people just go and want to have fun,try things and improve. Waynio........................ people may think differently but i wanna know why people think/know why its different. they may think it but they dont know that it is.

dont worry dude,i wasnt having a go, and wouldnt like it to go across like that. just thort id let the lad know, as iv encountered it with a few that have been into the shop and iv sorted myself. most U6 frames the drop outs will end up with massive gouges out of the material due to the wheel been tightened and loosed so many times. it literally eats away at the material. (well if you tend to like swinging on the allen key bolts or 15mm spanner :P :( which iv seen on a couple of bikes :o :o ) Waynio........................................

some of the 8spd ones dont even fit, you need to sometimes run UCI trials gearing for them to fit better. but most of the 8spd ones will fit with either 1 or 2 links out and some with none out at all. single speed will deffinatly NOT fit. theres probably like 90 links or 100 links which sometimes is way too short. iv had them in the shop for at least 2months now. Waynio....................... £399.99 or £499.99. ones got vee's and the others got magura's. im unsure that you can get them through ashton bikes, but im not guaranteeing that, just that martyn put the design down but someone else has been importing and selling them to shops. They sure look the Biz anyway.

Middleburns usually need at least a 118 if not a 122 or 127. dependant on frame. but id deffo get a 118 no shorter. Waynio.......................

U6 isnt like the monty material Siders77. its a much flexier and urable material. like i say its not the same as the monty material. just ask tartridge or any one in the know about U6. it IS the best alloy trials material available. Waynio........................

i think Mod661 which is nick from halifax has got his snail cams on the inside and his bike is a 2005 zoo python? Waynio....................... you only need to open the frame a little bit and that U6 tubing is flexy enough to do so. its like the cheesiest alloy there (but has the best properties for a Triasl frame, its so much more durable and flexy instead of it just cracking. its not like monty material where if you open it your causing the frame to be put under more stress) is but super good for trials frames.

il be there, van conversion should be done too, so there should be space in the band weagon for a few people. if i aint got a mercedes Vito by then. (keeps dreaming!!!need a bigger van for space and to get more people about) Could someone get an idea of where n which days etc etc? Like 1st August = Porthcawl 2nd August = ? 3rd August = etc etc you get my drift. i rekon it will be better than last years if we have more of the know how/where n when :) :) Waynio................... its just to hopefully promote getting people into "Competition" trials instead of always just going street riding, the sport isnt big enough in this country to not have competitions. look at how the competition scene is received in places like america and france n spain. if we could get to that state it would be great its never going to be that big but i rekon that the majority of trials riders in the world i would say england has some of the most talented trials riders around....... Hi everyone, just going to upload an entry form for sunday if people want to enter i think if you want to enter if you just send a form off and entry fee. There will be a new rule (or possibly) where new members can have a "TRY OUT" stage where they dont register to tyke trial, they can go to one or two FOC (without paying the Tyke trial fee £10.00) BUT people would have to be ACU affiliated. IF people and interest in this is greatly received THEN we can consider better options on club membership and stuff. Obviosly there is people who are doing there GCSE exams and maybe revising. if this is the case if people cant turn up thats not a problem. the entry form is in PDF file and downloadable (it will be uploaded soon) Regards Waynio..................... you will probably hav to pay the half price replacement. if you dent the downtube with landing on it, its not really onza's fault. there is a lad from shipley who has one he put a mega dent in his down tube other week on a keighley ride and it aint cracked (YET!) but its deep as hell, dinting is abuse (in the world of trials manufacturers) so in other words dont even try claim warranty on something just send it back and hope you get a good deal on it in return from the supplier, id never query a warranty nower days, im always open to just getting a new one. or you just get something that isnt prone to snapping? simple. onza t-mag = "Trials bike" if you think what a "Trials" bike should dom under the terms and conditions i wouldnt say its a "STREET" frame, it more (unfortunatly for yourself) comes under "Competition" style frame. Personally id get something thats proven with strength, i dont wanna start naming bikes or brands as it will be classed as advertising. and the post would be edited. Saves the hassle. sk people through MSN loads will have good ideas and suggestions on 20" frames. Waynio...............................

Event was great i think a big thanks must go to the following: Fred/Ben Savage for marking out an extremly mint course! Barbara for sorting out everything up to the event!and opening the entry to non license holders. All the observers who observed yesterday. Mick Scriven for pointing out some interesting line to me in his section (should have told me how to do it before i had gone into it 1st time mick :) :P ) All the people who helped out on Control before and after the trial. A really big thanks goes to everyone who was there and let me in front of them at the trial(could call it que jumping or fast passing :)" (Y) ). as i had to be back at work for 1/2ish. i ended up back at 1.30pm! at the end of the day its a vid, like boon says you cant just go "out casting" street riders, just wait until your day comes and you yourself turn into a street monster! everyones day comes around. i used to ride street none stop.................then did a bit of Au Natural then just come to a happy medium, i like to street ride with friends it has a certain buzz to it, but when you can go out and be artistic on the Au Natural its far nicer more relaxed and extremly calm. Example Akrigg enjoys what he does weather it be natural or street people can have opinions but theres may be biased due to them either riding all street or all natural? do both then see how you look on things................the world is a big place, and its alot bigger than trials! this is a minute community compared to some sports so its best if we all just get along? weather a street vid or a natural vid is put up, if akrigg is in it he will be extrmly artistic, boon if you saw some of the stuff akkers does on natural he approaches things just as any of us would on the streets!!!! he is NUTS! thats where all his skill and "Trial Noir" comes into it all................. too many people with too many different opinions. we should all learn to get on with each other no matter what the style!i look at some riders who ride different to me il stop and look and appreciate what they can do etc etc. Waynio........................ i like to look @ trials in all aspects and as much as possible BUT when people have to critisize someone who has the best and most adaptive style to any trials bike then why winge or moan people????? Akkers at the mo is riding a 1060 wheelbase bike which he has never done before and he finds it amazing how "TRIALSY" it is to him. he knows it might not be his style but there again it is he who rides in his own different way and "Trial Noir" is on theeeeeeeeeeeeeeee way...........................dum dum dum..............

he went to mongoose because of his "UNIQUE" riding style he can literally get on any bike and style the hell out of any move or line in a breath! iv seen that sidehop about a year ago and iv been out with him and i cant for love nor money get it!!!! he seriously is THE most flexible rider available and that shows why he is riding for mongoose. Trials-BMX-Dirt Jump extrodinaire!!!!! Waynio................................... Big up to the Chief himself! this place deffinatly lacks chris's videos!!!!

that aint a levelboss i should know iv just got the NEW 2005 one and it has a different seat tube design (just like the one on the koxx home page :P ^_^ ) and that one when i was speaking to fred was a "IDEA" but then all people would say is that its same/similar to everything else out there, koxx have better ideas than to use other peoples, just like ashton did with the other design. the new levelboss to me is alot nicer and looks far funkier and "Different" than any other bike on the market? mind you so was the XTP till it had the idea used on others manufaturers bikes. the main one that still ticks out for me is the bealay! Waynio................................ i think if koxx brought that bike out that was above by the time it was out someone elsde would have copied the design of the "Brake stay" tubes curving round instead of the toptube seat tube junction. if you dont like something you dont have to buy it, but to most i think most people will buy it and will like it? im really wondering if the 2piece seat tube is going to give it a different ride, ie stiffer back end flexier ride more comfortable ride etc. will let you all know when i have ridden it a couple of times. one of them will be tonight.

the plaz pads are supposed to be SH!T hot for bmx bikes, as the compound is softer. Waynio............................ i thort there was only one compound in the v-pads?iv got a bag in front of me and the only ones i have are: Yellow plaz magura pads Clear spanish fly magura pads then what i called plaz v-pads which are clear in the colour of the spanish fly compound?id say the colour is a little bit lighter though than the spanish fly magura
