Yo, Just purchased a D70 so I can use wireless flash and want to DOUBLE DOUBLE check before I buy a Sigma EF-500 that they can be used wirelessly with a D70? Cheers people! Quick replies will be appreciated:)

If I was you I would read it before coming to any conclusion. It isn't your typical " I wanna smoke mate, WHEY EY " I don't really have a comment on what you said to be honest, I don't agree with smoking, but then I understand that isn't really what the rant is about, it sort of snow balled. However I do agree that this country is becoming a push over and the mentality of most people today is very different to how it was say 50-60 years ago from what I hear/read etc. Obviously I wasn't alive so I can't be 100% sure though before any smart arse says anything.

Right, time to start thinking about driving at Uni. I really want to drive at uni and have been driving since January. I am 17 and am driving a 1.2 fiesta which i am insured under my dads name. My Dad is giving me his old astra 1.7 diesel estate and the insurance for me by myself on that is like 2-2,500 grand and on my car its like £1000. I really want the estate because its diesel and massive. Does anybody have an idea of a car which costs up to 2 grand ISH and is diesel and quite large and fairly nice? Most importantly fairly low insurance. I was looking at old Passats with fairly high mileage for about 2,300 but the insurance KILLS me. Any ideas/help/money would be appreciated. Cheers!

you have some really really nice images. You said you were doing GCSE's and to do those pics at such a young age is awesome. Keep at it. One problem with the site not the pics. Its that the text doesn't line up with the pic on the homepage because i am viewing it on a fairly big screen, I have to make the window smaller for it to line up. Get me? If not i will get a screen shot. Well done. Awesome just looke at your site and says you ride sudbourne trails and aldeborough. Is that Suffolk one you mean yer? As i ride both of them. Not necessarily, I once took my V8's out (Which were very tight) greased the threads and put them back in and they were better after that. Just because things are tight doesn't mean they can't creak/be cracked/be broken etc etc

Mine does all the above stuff cos its a Mac. Also it can recognise my voice, when I press escape it answers questions! Eg what time is it, what day is it, and it can tell me a joke and open up itunes etc etc. Well good when your feeling lazy.

According to this forum Simon and your MSN name you are possibly the most 'depressed' for no reason person I know of. So maybe it's because you are so cynical that you are never happy. I have seen them all on ebay for about the same price so price isn't an issue. Well I can't really be specific. I will be purchasing a few lenses soon. They need to cover all of my needs. I will be covering a wedding(with a D50 and a D70) so I will need something wide, and then something for general shots. I do a lot of sports photography and a lot of landscapes. I also quite like urbanscape type shots. However i don't do it anywhere near as often. I liked the 30mm because also it was a fast lens. I am also tempted by an old 50 1.8 off an old 35mm slr. As long as it would work (I don't care about Auto-focus; don't use it) Cheers

Hi, Can anybody tell me anything about the Sigma 30mm 1.4. I am looking for an all round lens (Not zoom) and it has to be good for portraits, landscape, sport, urbanscape etc etc. Is there a better lens at the same price, or am I best off with that? Cheers (P.S have looked else where but want a true opinion from a real person, not someone who got payed to write it. A true honest trials rider opinion!

Yo, I have some new fonts and have used stuffit and expanded them and they are now in fontbook (Mac) and i can't see them when I use fireworks, and thats the reason i got them! Have searched google but can't find anything. Any ideas?

You don't need any suspension then. Get a hybrid. 700c wheels will be a lot easier. Look at Ridgeback commuter bikes. The Rapide Range. Nice and light and well made.
