I know the monty wheels aren't drilled but ive had loads and theyv'e been fine but just wanted to search the field for better, where can i see koxx wheels and prices etc???
-
Im going to buy a new rear wheel soon, not that i need to but as soon as mines getting abit ropey, ive got a monty 221 pr 20" and ive got 2 options! Money isnt really a problem but i want to be sensible. I am purchasing it from CLEANBIKES as always, great value for money and exellent customer care, before and after sales (little plug ) I would like the rear 19" try-all wheel on the cnc hub because mainly they look kool and save weight with the drilled holes and 47mm wide! £150 But then theres the normal monty x-lite rear wheel, 2.5 inch wide! £105 Does anyone know how much weight difference there is between the two and the only other thing that is putting me off getting the try-all wheel is that its ONLY 47mm WIDE as opposed to the 2.5 INCH ON THE MONTY! I want the wider one but im so confused! Basically, i want light, drilled, and wide! Help me out people! Cheerz steve

Need some suggestions, whats everone else up for doing? personally im still up for going and hoping for the best and if we get turned away, just ride somehwere else Steve -

Hey Need Help With Stripping My Frame
Monty_Man_Stoive replied to onzatprodude's topic in Trials Chat
1st - You should laquer it, as laquer is a anti corrosion stage, just like paint, it not only looks good but its there for the reason to prevent corrosion. 2nd- keep it in doors, becuase moisture = corrosion (hardly any though, but its a start) 3rd - You should at least spray it with an Etch primer, thats primer for bare metal, then when you get a chance to laquer it, rub your frame down with a 320 grit paper and then a 500 git and then maybe even a wet 800 for extra smoothness because your only laquering it, then laquer it and your laughing Hope that helps mate Steve -
They look awesome should have made the rear in 2.70 though

PM'd you Munch 8987 I can assure you that the quality of the finish is amazing, as i said, its baked in a low bake oven, and there will be no dry patches or runs and will be like a factory finish, you pay for quality
