^changed so it was right, i wouldn't buy any other freewheel after owning one, even better than the eno
-
thats such a nice looking bike, think ive found my next frame seeing as rockman doesn't seem to want to bring out a short high bb frame with hs33 the red looks brilliant with the rest of the parts colour coded perfectly :)nice and minimalistic
-
i had an original on my hydroxx, suprisingly it lasted 1.5 years with me and still going strong with the new owner i did take it apart and clean it though wether that made a difference, with the current try-alls after a couple of months just seem to start skipping, mine did it and alot of my friends do it/did it
-
echo sl, much better than the try-all in my experience and from what ive seen with friends personally i would get the echo sl even over the eno
-
i cracked 2x levelboss(mod, you might be talking about stock) and my hydroxx lasted me 1.5years and is being rode hard by someone else now, i mainly ride street(not by choice) and the white sky ive had for about 7 months now (touch wood) also andyyrider the hydroxx bb is pritty low compared to the other bikes mentioned you need to think about wether you like high or low bb also ethier ive gone blind or you havnt said wether you want a mod or stock
-
feels fine(i have a white sky too) only problem is the frame is so god dam flexy i need to set my right hand magura pad(drive side) close to the rim and the other side far away and have alot of chain tension, but once it is setup right its absolutely brilliant love the geo also had a problem with the front rim being too narrow for a magura with them forks, both slaves pushed in as far as possible tpa as far as possible and half worn pads i found i had too much leverage so i have a front disc now
-
personally if your looking for something short/high bb and dual disc go with a manus alot cheaper, price of the sky frame is retarded (and i ride a white sky ) though saying that the hydroxx is a brilliant frame just depends if you want a lower bb
-
looks so much better with black components nice one tom if rockman dont bring out a short rear magura frame at some point i will probably have this after my koxx dies(if it dies:)) though i may get it sprayed white
-
Also the try-all superlights cages are far superior to the normal double caged ones(different grade metal i think), i havnt bent the cage in any way yet, also because the pedal body its self is so thin it allows the cages to sit further in to the bottom of your shoe increasing the grip as compared with traditional double cage bodys were due to the size of the pedal body your foot would rest on it meaning less force on the cage its self(i think:P), this increases the wear rate of your shoes as stated but it is deffinately worth it also i dont think comfort comes to much into it i feel more comfortable having more grip

considering he just said its the short version of the aurem... bring out a hs33 short!
-
ah man so sexy, i really wish Rockman would make short versions of the Aurem and Maladie
-
will they be stiff enough this time to accommodate a rear magura?
-
Ah right sorry didn't know that ;P
-
Personally I think Rockmans are abit long for comp, I would buy one right away if there was a short wheelbase option and I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one i would definately go double disc as long as you dont bend rear rotors like no tomorow on sidehopes as i did Also are you saying your going to have 2 bikes one for comp one for everything else? if so i would make your comp bike as similar as possible to your normal bike and just have lighter components, of course if thats what you ment about building up a second mod.

Hi, this is my second video of me and at barrow farm again originally it was going to have street from Chelmsford but I had so much footage from Barrow i decided just to make one video for barrow and then make a street video later in the future the video is probably abit long hopefully people wont get bored before the end as its alot slower paced video than what most are, again i struggled with choosing music so just put in something I liked, I'm not sure what people will think of it. For some reason I couldn't get the titles in the start of the video to get included when publishing the film from windows movie maker(if anyone knows why this is please let me know ) Thanks to Rob Larkins aka tall rob and James Barlow for the filming and big thanks to Mick and family at barrow farm who are constantly getting new things in and keeping it interesting Vimeo link
