  4. That pic is class! Where did you pick the roof rack up from? Chris
  5. Yeah, cheers Nick, i've welded in new sills and i checked the door gaps when i finished them off, they were ok then, but i guess things always go wrong! When i say ready for mot, i really mean that i'll have sorted the things i know about, the car's bound to fail, but then i'll have a list of things to sort. And i get to rag it down to the test centre :- Will be good once its on the road though! :o
  6. Hehe, fool, you just kill the first monster, jump off the waterfall and then keep in the river, creeping past the monsters. At the bottom you find a helicopter with a machine gun mounted in it. From then its easy. :o

  8. Well, you asked... Excuse the quality, silly camera phone. It needs doors fitting, a plate welded in the front wheelarch, the hazard warning flasher rpelaced, the windscreen wiper motor replaced, the blue front seats that i've got put in, the windscreen washers unblocking and a little more sanding/spraying before its ready for an MOT.

    Fatness

By cardio he means doing aerobic exercise, such as swimming, running, rowing or cycling. Obviously its easiest to do this at a gym, but you could get a road bike and put some miles in on that. :)"
  10. Nope, i've checked with lspci and all the numbers match up. One thing that might be of intrest is that using the lspci -v command tells me that the I/O ports of the Wifi card at 4000 are disabled: root@ubuntu:~# lspci -v results in: 0000:02:00.0 Ethernet Controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8180L 802.11B MAC (rev 20) Subsystem : Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8180 802.11b MAC Flags: medium devsel, IRQ11 I/O ports at 4000 [disabled] Memory at 10800000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [disabled] Capabilites: [50] Power Mangagement version 2 Thanks for the ideas Delusionsal, does this mean anything to you?
  11. I saw both the stock and the mod in my lbs today, they're not too bad actually. I asked the guy what the wheelbase of the stock was, and he was like "umm, do you want to measure it" so i did, and its about 1060... :)

  13. Smoke tinted side repeaters would look nice with those rear lenses. Nice car, watch the understeer on corners though! My mum put ours in a ditch... :wink2:"
  14. The Ethernet is part of the laptops motherboard. The Wifi card i'm using is based on the Realtek 8180L chip, which most people seem to be able to use by using ndiswrapper to do the drivers. The card's number is: 73-TMWBD-001 Thanks delusional.
  15. Yeah, my card has native linux drivers, but they're for old Red-Hat kernels, and no-one i've read about has managed to get them to work with ubuntu, thats why i went for the ndiswrapper option. I think the problem is with the way Ubuntu is dealing with the PCI card...?
  16. I've installed all the packages that that page reccomended, no improvement :- I also watched the Device Manager as i unplugged and re-plugged in the card, and it definately knows its there. :wink2:
  17. No, i haven't, will try it now and edit this post with a result. I already have that package installed, will just try some of the others. Thanks Danny!
