neoprene is crap and expensive, the best bet is some clear hose pipe like rossi(?) said, if not then tyre or tube is the second best bet. hold the bugger on with double sided tape, duck tape an tip ties but remember if you land on a zip ties it'll die so carry a few spares :P
-
thats the best things i've evr seen 5,000% for effort there matey, my god i'm definately coming up for a weeks riding in the summer now, it'll take a week to have a go on all your different bikes :P
-
would it be possible to tidy up NMC a bit too by getting rid of the shits who just write crap and spam the place up, that way those members who are trying to get validated might not mind being in NMC as much...
-
gutted, i thought i'd found another full on hunch back for a second there... i'm sure i'm shrinking quicker than my grandad from sitting at this computer so much ;)
-
that is possibly the most entertaining vid i've downloaded off here in a long time ;) where d'you get the song from? any chance of sening it via msn (when i've worked out how to use it)
-
if you find it that much efort to stand straight get a backl support to use for the first few months til your muscles are used to being straight again and get one of those stools where the seat is at like 45degrees and under it theres another 45 degree slope for your knees, that'll sort your back out ;)

what about buying some heatsink v pads off steve?

yes we have at least 3 more lessons evenings in the hall and we will be able to stotre our stuff there for the foreseable future for free. the pallet trolley looks spot on ;) i'm slightly concerned that this thread may turn into a chit chat thread so maybe we should all communicate through email a bit more when its not stuff that the whole forum need to know about  spunkey_monkey_boy@yahoo.com club email - freeridetrials_club@yahoo.co.uk
-
yep but as soon as the lessons finish its going to cost us £50 an evening so theres not going to be any more free riding time indoors  ah well we'll just have to run a good few indoor jams and comps over the next winter ;)
-

-
all you need to do it get a black TPA, paint the red bits of the avid disk black and peel off the D521 sticker and then take a pic of it against a white background, you wouldn't be able to tell if it were a colour or B+W shot (Y)

i was actually quite afraid when i reard that post, i thought christ that lad puts more effort into his posts than i do, i hope they don't swap me and him and send me back to the NMC. personally i think he's spot on too and needs validating imediately, some of the other people who've been validated recently have never put that much effort into their posts and yet they've been moved up... (awaits a sending back to NMC)
-
i think the tyres look great its just the bar and stem that look (Y)
-
i second that, hehe that means someone else'll have to do it or he'll have to consult us on the soundtracks...
-
yes they came through, yours is here ready for collection along with pete's (Y) the rest of the t's will be advertised on selectbikes.com as soon as i get pics and detaisl up. sorry matt but robs right, the only thing i didn't like about the indoor vid was the soundtrack so i turned the computer speakers off and put my cd player on :P matt - we need to make sure you don't end up with all the jobs mate, it may seem fun atm but believe you me if you end up doing all the work it'll test your patience... oh and about barlow, people dont have to be local to help out, as of september i'll be in liverpool...
-
superstar (Y) is that the total cost or would we have to pay VAT ontop of that? i'll be needing to order it as soon as i get the letter and cheque through (mind i still need bob to sign the bank forms...) that'd be media mate, thats great, the media side of things will cover videos, photo's, leaflets and TF announcements. you could split the job with pete if he wants to do some of it. once everyones seen this thread and said what they wana do then we'll sort out all the different jobs :P
-
cool phil that'd be great, i was kinda hoping you could cover th newsletter side of things and help out with the comp/demo designs but its all down to what you feel you'd be best at doing... (off to PM you about something else)
-
its not about being given a job mate, its about finding your own place within the club and doing that bit well to help the club overall run smoothly... i'm a bit stcuk trying to find a job that won't need some phone calls/lettres/emails but i'm sure someone will come up with a load of jobs i've missed...
