Winslo - Got banned, didn't he? - i bloody well hope so, remember that name from years ago and i distinctly remember wanting to break his legs for screwing me over about something, too long ago to remember what now Kurt Brain - rides for ashton (acording to the web site) but was injuried out in 04 and doesn't apear to have done much since Danny Smith - still rides, check the biketrialuk website and you'll see him on second place at the podium in one of the pics... Luke Birch - now theres a name i remember from right back in the day, what ever did happen to him? i remember him killing about 8 pace frames in quick succession and then going on to beast an ashton or two... got on well with that guy.

if things are changing to uci what will happen to categories because i still can't get my head round uci categories, all the different names confuse me. will it run as elite/expert/inter/novice or will it be all those master, cadet etc. if it is running master cadet etc which one is at a similar level to inter? or maybe even slightly easier than inter seeing as its uci? oh yeah and what membership, licenses etc do we need? i have tykes and british cycling but no acu, can i enter or do i need to pay a whole load more membershipand license fees? oh yeah and why can you no longer be found on biketrialuk website? not done a runner have you? sorry to ask so many questions but i'm quite interested in riding some more uci stuff cheers tom

yeah man, i've riden porters short control and wanted it big time but now porter and ali c and everyone else seems to be either ripping it or ranting about the justice's. if i spent as much time riding as i do thinking about riding i'd be able to show all you bitches a thing or two...

na man, even if the sheff locals dont turn up you'll ride more with me here than you can find in the whole of north wales, chester and liverpool added together. and its all crammed together more. i litterally can't walk a quarter mile without seeing more sick stuff to ride...

i have to say i'm still a big leeson fan even though i've got a long control atm too. i'm now finding the control is too long and getting a bit boring where as the leeson is still ok for natty and great fun on the street. just need to combine the two so i onlt have one trials bike to be fair... theres an idea - anyone interested in a clear660 frame or an echo control long? will sell or part ex/swap for a short control or newer justice. unless clive wants to build me a mid length leeson

the ferries dont go into dublin they go in dunlaoragh (sp?), the prom there looks quite sweet, imagine rhos but through a magnifying glass, all the rocks are bigger and i rekon there'd be a fair bit to ride. alternatively you could get ooop to sheffield (in about the same time and less money) and ride some sickenly great street...

nice picks, nice riding, how come i dont hear when liverpool rides are happening anymore? also i'm not sure the s5600 does 6megapix, i think it tops out at 5.1...

i've been a huge echo fan for a while now and would have definately said echo... but hearing what ali has to say about the ashton and seeing the way porter rides that thing is making me think twice. when porter finally re surfaces ask him seeing as he's riden both recently...

new bar and stem, some coust pads from fatmike and an angle grinder to do that rear rim of yours...

sorry if this sounds harsh mate and its nothing against you but those phots really aren't anything special at all. if this guy is putting them in his portfolio then he's not gonna get much work. i take a fair few pics and know what i'm doing (ish) and i could shoot better pics than them. maybe for people who don't know what trials is they're alright but for us riders those pics are pretty crap. if i were you i'd tell him to take a look in here at the photo competition before he shoots you guys again. the light, focus etc on the second pic are all fine but the andle doesn't show the move off and he could get pics a hundred thousand times better with that camera and you riders...

hmmm might come along if someone has a car i can dump my bag in and if i can meet up with you lot later on, i've got physio in liverpool at 10.30 but can be in leeds for about 1.30 i rekon...

obviously it would depend on where and when but i'm always up for a comp so long as either sexy mike or phil are going sao i can bunk a lift...

all in the title really. i'm in sheffield atm without my bike and wanting it soooo bad so i thought f**k it lets come back next weekend. so anyone up for a nice phat sheffield street ride and then maybe the tykes comp the next day? make it a real good weekends riding. (if my back plays up again i'll do photo/video for both days so long as theres space in someones car) tom thinking of starting the ride at 11am at the arts tower. if everyone is cool with this and knows where it is then alls good...

OT a bit i know but since my backs wrecked i cant ride trials so its off out on the xc/freeride bike for a bit of a thrash (gentle thrash) round either delamere or llandegla. if anyone wants to come post here and pm me and we'll hook up. oh yeah this sunday, starting about 11ish...
