I needed a metal gpu to update the Mac Pro. Best I could get was a rx580. They still are expensive, but not as bad before and coming down, I just couldn’t wait.

The monitor I ordered back in march randomly turned up today! Also, a massively overpriced gpu from eBay should arrive Monday. Only downside is I think the nvme drive I got on a hotdeal doesn't look like its going to be compatible with the Mac Pro but free amazon returns by June means I can try again after updating the firmware when the gpu arrives. Then I can transfer all the photos and iTunes library to the Mac Pro on separate drives and set up a win10 boot.

I accidentally a Mac Pro. It appears to have come from a home studio and has a load of extra drives and cards I wasn’t expecting. It’s sooooo heavy.

but I have relevant information for once... Only kidding, its not that relevant, but Ive never had great experiences with the erbauer stuff, its all died relatively quickly. I got my hitachi combo on a hotdeal and its been great. Both screw fix and toolies regularly run deals on drill/drivers so maybe wait for a good one on special

Quick shed update (didn’t really make it but it’s in something I made.) flatpack marathon turned out ok. need to tidy up and get the desk sorted, ordered a new monitor finally, now just need a decent keyboard and mouse combo.

This aged badly merc have the worst engine and Ferrari beat up redbull. I also laughed pretty hard when the poor old world champ started shouting. I still expect Mercedes’ to be near the front in a few races.

So in this thread we kinda established that unhealthy people and people with health conditions are the people that were dying in great numbers - we vaccinate them and they stop dying in such big numbers - normal people get less sick, people get to go out and do stuff - vaccination does nothing?

All I would say is the first paper is just someone interpreting and arguing for ivermectin in studies that have been completed elsewhere. Not an actual study. And the second is neither, I’ve no idea who the flcc are and really on what basis they operate. I’m open to the idea that ivermectin is effective, but yet to see a study that isn’t controversial or is widely accepted as conclusive. The rest about vaccines- the statistics don’t support a lot of what you are saying.

Verstappen should walk it on race pace. Give merc 4 races and they’ll be at or near the front - as they’ve said - their car fits inside all the other cars and they have the best engine.

You don’t think there is any chance that the mass vaccination program have helped this to be “over”? Also - link the studies that prove these alternative treatments effective. Anecdotal evidence means shit in a global pandemic.

Yeah - they are very very thin, and the rubber is pretty hard. I also found them to be pretty massive compared to a similarly sized(labeled) maxxis

After a load of annoying first world problems yesterday, today I went to Cwmcarn and rode the bike, only got in 15km or so but it was great. Nearly had a mahooosive crash on one fast section, but the Dave was great fun to ride on the downhills.

Testing has begun! My favourite part of the year. Seeing all the new bits and bobs and different interpretations of the rules. Happily all the cars are pretty different, but i think merc and the bulls look way more developed. Might not be the fastest but look like they've spent the most!
