  2. just wondering what all the trials superstars do from day to day- like job wise? they can't make enough riding seatless bikes surely EG: akrigg works in aire valley... what do kenny, vince, coustelliers, caisso, danny b, ohler, tra...(and all the rest of course!) do during the days? adam

  11. ey? i think is a better description.. boy needs therapy for sure- spent a year trying to break himself, and his bike nut job! some silly things happening.. adam
  12. that was bloody brilliant!! reaally realllllllly enjoyed that...
  13. errrr guys....nuclear fission is not going on in a fuel cell... for a start you need a big atom that will form two new stable atoms, and if you hadn't noticed, H is the simplest atom there is meaning there is nothing to split...! fuel cells are just combustion chambers like an engine, but instead of burning the fuel, they use a catalyst to make the reaction occur at a lower temperature.... think that's the easiest way to explain it...and the reaction produces electrons..which run through the motor circuit and power your vehicular menace.
  14. give people a chance...say tomorrow, thursday night? 7ish at shell?
  15. 1) the plastic sleeve is probably rather worn...try wrapping some tape around the plastic sleeve and repositioning the slave as normal. The extra padding might help to grip and will stop the slave slipping back into the groove you've made..can also buy a new sleeve 2) some QR are better than others- people seem to get on well with the budget shimano stuff though which won't see you broke..also, what hub are you running? do you use tensioners? on alot of hubs you can tap an M6 thread into the axle and use bolts... adam
  16. ruse man....once your riding its all gravy get out and see!
  17. that sounds awesome...! although i got the impression that the seniors ride a whole lot less than they did when not seniors...

  20. also got mine for a super fair price (cheers chris ).....and i love it! went from a bt5 and this feels a whole lot shorter, lighter and more flickable... taps are a bit more effort (shorter..) but much smoother when it works. Sidehops same, gaps same... just has really nice geo- also my first experience of noticeble BB rise (~25mm i think)...tis nice. adam
  21. making hydrogen is also a problem....! i've become attached to the idea of monster scale biomass fuel...
  22. anyone fancy it one night this week? wensdy? thursday? hopefully more people will entice the chai monster into riding mode...
  23. and again- my thoughts go out.. reading the last 6 pages makes me really proud to be part of this trials community..tis a good thing we have going here. adam
