  3. also likes gilles' bike most... he has cut the ends off his pedals ...i thought it looked a bit rough in real life...he has literally scratched all the paint off, with wire wool it looks like!

  7. yikes...re-read your post... swiss cottage!?!i had to look up where that is as far as I know, there are no riders around that area....so i have no idea if there is any riding around there at all... usual places are around southbank, elephant & castle, the "city"/liverpool stish sometimes hackney, woolwich, lewisham, kingston.. if there's much in swiss cottage i'm sure some people would love to ride somewhere new. adam

  12. all fixed hubs are pretty much the same nowadays....they have the same bearings! from experience, i'v found the koxx or megamo hubs to be alot more durable- needle bearing on the drive side and beefier axle. viz axles are terrible... adam
  13. hahaha...was just reading this... you might be pleased to know..the forks died
  14. first thing i did was to put a 3mm thick piece of steel over the mech hangar! problem was my mech used to break slowly i now have a homemade 74 kingz "style" tensioner... http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....=105132&hl= good luck!
  15. i'm in a pretty similar situation! i'm borrowing some monty ti bars of a mate....and i'm waiting till the end of the month when the new trialtech bars should be out...740mm wide, but with slightly less rise... extension wise...i've got some old outland bar plugs that came with some XC bars. They're basically a cylinder of Al cut diagonally with a thread through the middle. As you do up the bolt, the two halves slide past each other (on the diagonal cut) and get wedged in the bar. Just cut the end of some other bars and put over the top and you'd have a nice extension adam edit- http://www.singletrackbikes.co.uk/product/...s_Alloy_ScrewIn
