  1. yes..its a sweden thing... always on..
  2. steve's have lasted a good while so they can't be bad
  3. that's the whole idea...the bb shell will get hotter and has a larger diameter than the cup, hence it will expand more than the cup...making it easier to loosen
  4. proper f**ked it's quite easy to smoke more than you should...especially when you shouldn't at all!
  5. put an old pair of forks over the end of your spanner to get more leveraagagagagagage?
  6. you know you need to undo the non-drive side first? anticlockwise...
  7. ace vid..! some really powerful stuff...not what i'd call a mellow song adam
  8. edit- you won't be able to use your ratchet...need a spanner or a vice..
  9. similar to above....imagine your BB axle isn't long enough and your freewheel rubs on the BB cup... not a good experience..!
  10. best way i've found.... you need to bolt the tool onto the bb, either using the crank bolt if the tool isn't too fat, or a longer bolt threaded into the BB, or a huge bolt that goes all the way through the BB to a nut the other side.... then clamp the tool in a vice and turn the frame
  11. just steal that t-master stem and try it... i somehow don't think you mean me, but i have one in my shed somewhere
  12. the headset on superstarcomponents is really light...88g i think...and cheap...as is all their stuff....lots of colours... not tried it though.. i'm a long term user of the FSA orbit XLII
  13. no nooooo...way after that! was like youtube..for trials... but not trials tube
  14. i reckon it'd work better with the mount/booster bit on top.... would actually be "boosting" more there since the pistons would be sandwiched between the frame and booster (in that picture, the pushing force from the pistons is above the booster + frame meaning that there will still be flex above..)... would also solve the fact that it doesn't sit properly... edit- like it is, the cross-over is exposed too..
  15. i've got that video....will try and upload it if no-one can find it online... what was the name of that site where you could stream loads of trials videos? turned up just before trials tube started on here...its doing my head in trying to remember adam
  16. doesn't say they're butted...at all... for comparison- monty ti bars are triple butted...
  17. different alloys don't vary much in weight...7075 is more dense than 6061! i expect they're just thicker than the bars you're comparing them to...all the bars are made using the same process...
  18. i miss school fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucking hell i'm bored. edit- awesome...swear filter doesn't work on "exaggerated" words...like shhhit! or fuuck! edit- that still swearing?
  19. i've extended those monty ones you sold me, and they feel very different...i run them tilted quite far forward so the sweep isn't too bad...very nice otherwise- maybe trialtech bars?...not actually out yet but PM dave and see what's happening. Same shape as the monty but with slightly less rise, less sweep and wider... or the new 26" monty bars (should be out soon)...less sweep, more width... not got a clue about mtb bars edit- "7075 butted construction, ~310g, 740mm wide, will be coming in black, silver or powdercoat white finish. Hopefully gonna be available towards the end of April/very early May"
  20. got a "thing" going on with frijj milkshakes...oooo...i dooo
  21. its an aaaaaawesome bike mike cott.... i guess you probably missed out on megamo by a couple of years, but they were probably the best full build trials bikes around!! back in the lycra days.. http://biketrials.com/bikes/DaniComas-26/index.shtml http://biketrials.com/bikes/DaniComas-20/index.shtml
  22. which one is nearer? all martin and andrew do is moan about evans
  23. they can break in all kinds of ways... take it off and bend it back, or buy new ones some are beefier than others...which should be obvious if you look.. yes, people have trouble with chain tugs
