I'm doing mine this year. I was supposed to be going to a bike shop near me but they let me down at the last minute. :D So now i'm going to Woolworths! (Y) :(
I've only used a split link once. This was on my KHE Collapse chain and with in 2 minutes of riding the split link snapped! :- So i'm never gonna use a split link again!
Yeah, it's worked with loads of others. But over the last month or 2 it hasn't been working. I've used, Heatsink whites, Heatsink Reds, Yellows and Cousts and none of them have worked properly :-
I'm not having much luck with these pads :- They just wont lock! They kinda make a swooshing sound and slip all over the place. :) Is there any way that a grind can be ground in the wrong direction? This is how I grind my rim at the moment.
1: Take the wheel out of the frame and take the tire off etc...
2: Put the wheel back in the frame.
3: Spin it Anti-Clockwise a little bit.
4: Put the grinder on the left hand of the wheel at an angle.
5: The wheel spins uber fast!
6: Push down to get a harsh grind
I'll edit in a min with a pic (Y)
Sorry to steal the thread a bit Waynio. ;)
EDIT: Here's the pic... Sorry it's a bit sh!t (Y)
EDIT Again!: I just realised, the arrow is supposed to be on the left side of the pic! Whoops! :">
Hey, well the problem I have is that I might be getting a new frame (Monty 221ti '04) but this has an internal headset and I want to be able to use my King headset with it.....I've been given this link by a friend but i'm not sure what one I need.
Can anyone tell me please? :-
I wouldn't pull the frame out mate. It will probably end up cracking or something :o My mate Lew who runs a Profile has cut down some old chain tugs :o I'll get him to post a pic up :(
