  1. 128x28 makes it ride like a dream though.
  2. I never complain about my tyres when riding in the snow or well on anything, including trials. Just change your riding style and apporach things differently. I usually ride on ice and snow on my maxxis slicks with no problems.
  3. Not ridden in more than 1,5 months now.. I wanna ride!!!!

    Snowboarding!

Can't help you with the bindings because I hate everything that has to do with snow, so I'm deffo not into skiing and snowboarding etc. Butttttt, I'd seriously recommend going to Sweden for some snowboarding. I don't say that because I live here etc, it's just because we have amazing skiing/snowboarding places where it's cheap to stay etc, good nightlife on these places aswell! Drop me a line if you want more specific info! Want to add: Even though I'm not into skiing, doesn't mean that I don't know anything about it. And I have been to a few 'good skiing places' in Sweden.
  5. What setup where you using them on? My rockman blues are the best pads I've ever used, they worked best on my Echo 24" with a Echo rim. I was always that guy on our group rides that had amazingggggg brakes that everyone loved. Amazing bite and hold, can't rate them any better. Only 'downside' was that they where a bit toooo loud sometimes
  6. Yeah that chain getting tighter and then slacker, is normal. But I don't know what you mean with 2-3 mm play? If it is what I think it is, then it's probably just the freewheel taking time to engage.
  7. This is one video that really makes me want a Element because this is the type of riding I want to do mostly! But yeah, foreplay seems to be what I'm after really, let's see what I can afford
  8. Well basically both where a bit used, one more than the other. The green one's brakes worked best so I chosed that haha, but there was a blue one aswell where the brake's wheren't as good as the green one. And I problems getting onto objects because of the brake slipping quite a lot (On the green one) Worth to mention is that both bikes where factory spec'd Inspired fourplay team's 2013. I know how to properly set up disc brakes though Ehm, to both I think. Well, I suck on them because I've never really tried doing them. Should be my thing to really learn under the winter I guess!
  9. Yeah that sounds like me... It's just a block for me and I can only bunnyhop onto small things. I will learn them as soon as I get a bike haha I've used them all aswell, just loooove the feel of vee's. And there's something in me that likes to try new pads and try new grinding disc's etc.. I just love that! I know that disc brakes are much better though on everything pretty much, but when I rode a Fourplay team for 2 days under a show (the full green one), I didn't like how the hope brakes performed. They didn't have anough hold for my liking either.
  10. Hahah, knew you would say something like that! My technique is to bad though for bunnyhops, so I guess I'll just pedal upp everything untill I learn it. Yeah the geo seems a bit nicer on the Fourplay. But having vee brake mounts wouldn't be totally wrong... Thanks for your help btw!
  11. Hmmm.. Okey! So you would say that the fourplay is a bit more what I'm after? Worth to mention is that I probably won't bunnyhop it. It will be treated a bit like a 'normal trials bike', but I will deffo mash in a lot of street but not bunnyhops haha
  12. Hahah I wanna be there when you try it on the biggest one
  13. So who should I trust now? :$ Geometry - Wheelbase: 1025mm - Chainstay: 385mm - BB Height: +20mm - Head Angle: 73˚ - Reach: 660mm Geometry - Wheelbase: 1020mm - Chainstay: 375mm - BB Height: +25mm - Head Angle: 73˚ - Reach: 665mm So basically: What geo would be best for pure trial moves? Like gaps and things like that. I was quite sure that the fourplay was what I was after, but after having some chats now it seems like the element is better for what I'm after. Help me decide please!
  14. Haven't seen that this thread has gone on haha. But the funny thing is that Euan told me that the Element was best for static trials stuff... And some friends have said the same thing.
  15. Yeah I can do bar height stuff now, so hopefully shouldn't be a problem even though I will ride a streety bike Haha I agree
  16. We open our presents today in Sweden, sounds spoiled but: I was quite dissapointed with my 'presents', they where all just boring gift cards.. The nice part was a pair of Five Ten shoes though.
  17. Is that me maybe haha? Don't really add much people on facebook though...
  18. Couldn't even watch it because of that horrible song.
  19. Don't know actually! When I was there I couldn't even up to front so I've never tried haha! But I've been able to up to front on similar sized things, so we'll see in the summer if I'm able to
  20. That's a nice one! I've been there and know how big that is. Good job
