  1. no worries mate tattoo's are permanent last thing if you're unclear now what are you going to think in 5-10 years time. PM me if you have any ideas or spark this topic back up... Still designing until tomorrow night everybody after that you can always PM/comment in here me and i'll get back to you asap.
  2. Tiger. I went with cherry blossom instead of the rose you asked for because I didn't think the rose fitted in as easily the japanese writing says "strong" but it was just a idea. I get it isn't really what you asked for but theme size it makes more sense... i'd suggest having the rose separately to emphasize the difference in style's also the picture is just from my camera as I can't scan it (its too big for my little A4 hp all in one)
  3. I don't think distorting a lions head to look like a heart would work if i'm honest. Iv'e just done a few quick thumbnail sketches and it isn't working too well unfortunately. Iv'e just been on google to get some ideas and I can't find any existing tattoo's like this so i'm at a loss on that one.
  4. a heart? wings... Quote is a bit long to be honest text would have to be scaled down lots the names and dates are cool though if you want me to do that.
  5. I drew roses like that for a while... got bored and now i'm trying something different... I have three of those roses on my arm... i like them... but there's no school like the old school your supposed to be providing me the inspiration not the other way round .... but really I can't just make stuff up, I find it easier designing for other people rather than myself. maybe just a google image of something thats caught your eye? please? cheers rick
  6. c'mon man really I'm trying to do somthing nice for people here Any ideas on what sort of imagry you might want?... Dosn't matter what even one thing would give me an idea to base the design round Cheers
  7. I feel like a bit of a machine popping these out every 2 minutes now i'm doing some for friends too so If I don't design somthing instantly... don't worry i'll try my best to post somthing in the next few days Cheers rick
  8. I need to shade it still I'll upload some pictures when i'm done

  10. this is way above me... you sunshine have issues
  11. horseshoe for rich J Day of the dead next... I'm probs going to let this be the last for tonight as i'm working tomorrow
  12. what sort of other stuff just for inspiration? roses? leafs? Cheers alternative variation for Monkman got rid of the banner for you mate
  13. haha script is easily changed... I went for the rose for a subtle hint of love. I'm a fan of old school tattoo's mainly the line work on that one is a little bit shoddy I'll try and improve it in future. I had to rush it a little because my stupid mac wouldn't scan unless I downloaded a stupid 80mb hp update -____- never buy a HP printer Cheers Edit: any more I'm quite bored tonight
  14. lineworks a bit sketchy but what do you think
  15. EDIT: I've just had a thought could people now post where abouts they want the tattoo and dimensions to aid the design (for example bigger tattoo's require more line work smaller tattoo's need to be simplified slightly and also the location say arm may allow different composition to be used e.g. long and thin/placements of elements within the design)
  16. Hi all, Iv'e been doing quite a few tattoo designs lately if anybody wants something designing i'll come up with something and post it back in here be as random as you like and please no tribal any aspect of originality welcome surprise me ricky b
  17. thanks for the pics I never thought to completely remove the cap from the back of the top tube also I see you've drilled the entry hole in the gusset so I guess that'd be a good place to drill. However if you think of it like you would a spoke in a wheel (same theory different subject) a spoke generally only snaps at the ends other elbow or thread hence butted spokes ...so would it be better to drill the hole as far down the frame as possible? Obviously within reason I wouldn't put it halfway down the top tube but it kind of makes sense to me.
  18. That would be the easy option Could anybody with a Hex get me pictures of the inside of the head tube and seat tube because I need to know if i'll be able to route the cable directly under the seat post. also would running the seat post that short be safe seeing as i'll probably have to cut it down lots ... Mehh who sits down anyways. I know I'm being really picky about this but it's going to be by far the nicest frame I've ever owned and I just want to put my own stamp on it seeing as they're becoming quite common lately.
  19. oh it'll definitely be the hex. I just hadn't heard of merino before now. they do look good value to be honest. iv'e just had another idea for routing that cable as well How about routing the cable completely through the frame and bringing it out right at the back of the top tube and using a splitter right at the end (on the inside of the frame) so all you see is two parts of the cable poking out of the back of the top tube 2 holes going to the slaves. now Iv'e thought about how big this would make the hole (near the head tube) and I've figured a way around it. Using the hole inside the head tube I could push the fully assembled cable down through the top tube, through the holes in the base of the tope tube then through the hole created for the cable to thread through coming from the leaver. however because space is limited on the inside of the top tube I need the smallest possible splitter and the only 2 Iv'e seen are by trial tech and monty. so does anybody know of a splitter that doesn't send the slave pipes off at an angle? or would it fit inside the top tube without needing to run parallel? god that was hard to explain sorry if it just sounds like a bunch of blurb
  20. It doesn't change the fact that I can't see a price I can only submit an order Somebody please point it out if i'm being thick
  21. I really wish I'd known about this earlier =( I work until 4 on sundays
  22. How cheap are we talking Iv'e just been on their site and there's no pricing =S pretty silly way to work things if you ask me. So you have to submit an order before you get a price? or am I missing something?
  23. -unwind the tpa to make the brake pull in furthest-un-thread the main lever pin 5mm bolt (this is situated on the top of the lever body I'm assuming this is on a back brake so it would be to the right of the tpa itself) (left if front) -pull this out -pull the lever out it will just slide out of the main body (at this stage you might need somebody to apply pressure to the piston inside the lever to stop it falling out -wind the tpa fully out as if you wanted to adjust your pads inwards -the pin of the tpa will thread out completely -the round part of the tpa will be in three parts 2x plastic semi circular shapes and the red circular tpa with the hole in it. -assuming that you are just changing the red part. insert the new tpa between the two semicircular plastic parts you removed from the old tpa -and push back into drilled hole in lever blade -now thread the old pin fully back in same way you took it out (be sure not to cross thread) -insert lever blade into main body -thread the pin in and tighten (5nm (I think) more than this will risk putting too much pressure on the fragile lever body and it will crack) (most of them did it didn't render the brake useless) -wind the tpa to your desired setting. -done
