New To Trials - Would Appreciate Advice On Buying A 26" Secondhand

Hello I am new to trials and need to get a 26" quick - before the bad weather sets in. I want to get a second hand one but am struggling to find one on Ebay and am not sure if buying one via this Forum is a good idea. I live in Bristol. Any tips would be great. Cheers all Matt H
