I'm sorry, I didn't understand that, say it again with your face out of his arse please...

I was doing it.. I bought a shorter stem. I realised that I was struggling to keep my wheel in the air, I thought I just couldn't balance on one wheel haha. as soon as I put my shorter stem on it felt much more natural and stays on the rear wheel easily and nicely... slows things down.. EDIT: after watching it again it doesn't seem too bad, only one or two points your balance goes....

You can actually get just as much if not more power with a vee brake Like Brad said, LGV pads or ADV pads and a good rim grind and you'll be laughing. The reason Hydraulic rim brakes have such a massive reputation in trials is because back in "oldskool" days there was a much wider range of pad for maggies, this isn't the case any more and there are a lot of people who run vee brakes because they prefer them Not trying to tell you to keep your Vees just giving you some options

They look easier because they're better riders... If you want to suddenly get better gaps you could try longer cranks.. But then again your rolling moves will suffer..
