take starnut out and get grinder on job

drill a hole in your topcap and remove one of the tabs from the starnut, worked for me.

ive always left the hose end in some hot water, then clamped in blocks and tapped in with a manc screwdriver. swearing loudly normaly helps me. barbed fittings are certainly very gay indeed. this sounds like a super top tip will be giving this a go next time i fit one, have +1 for your wisdom sir.

right so i have some sport risers (with a trailtech stem) on my effect and they make what i can only describe as a 'ticking' noise, mostly when just riding along like when i roll off a curb the'll do it, and then again when i pull up the front end. i've cleaned them and my stem where they contact each other and it'll stop for a bit then it'll start again, this isnt just limmited to my bars my mates high risers do it too (on a rockman stem i think). has anybody else had this problem? if you have what did you do to stop it? chris
